Pros: The proximity to the sea and the fairly secluded location made our stay extremely peaceful and comfortable. I especially loved the balcony that runs along all the apartments — you can choose the perfect spot for breakfast, and it feels like your own private corner, with a sea view in the distance and flowers overhead. A special mention goes to the host’s lovely welcome gestures — we really appreciated it, and it truly reflects what I consider great, friendly service. The host also gave us detailed explanations about everything, was very communicative and kind. The swimming pool was another big reason why we chose this place. Its gentle slope into the water and gradual depth change are great features. There are many sunbeds around, and at times we even had the whole area to ourselves.

Cons: The bathroom is a bit small, and there isn’t really a convenient place to put your clothes when getting undressed before the shower. On the second day, we also had a small invasion of ants, so we had to keep the kitchen area perfectly clean — not a single crumb left behind.

Lovely stay and would definitely come back

Pros: Lovely and clean. Pool area was fantastic and close to local bars and restaurants. Bus stop just round the corner for jaunts into Chania.

Cons: Slight point was that the plug sockets in the kitchen were too high for the kettle to reach so we relocated the kettle. No big problem

Pros: We were given one of the upper apartments with a huge balcony (it went literally around the apartment) which allowed us to both have breakfast on it without direct sunshine, but also enjoy the beautiful sunset above the hills. You can even see the sea from the balcony! The apartment has 2 very well working ACs (in summer a must have). Kitchen has all necessary equipments, even a Nespresso maker (no other coffee machines though!). The yard pool and lounger chairs are amazing. There are easy street parking options and the sea is 4min walking, with 2 grocery stores very close. We were very warmly welcomed (wine, juice and beers), and the host gave us detailed recommendations to do in Crete around Chania. Chania old town is approx 30min with the bus and they run frequently, much on time (took us by surprise). + if you are a runner: there are nice running routes around Chania in the hills, but there is a little park with a path 7-8min from the apartment as well!

Cons: The bathroom could be definitely bigger (with maybe some cabinets; we had to store all our bathroom stuff on the floor), especially the shower cabin. The apartment itself is in a decent condition, but could use some renovation and maybe a ceramic stove in the kitchen. + the kitchen knives could be sharpened 😄

Pros: I had a lovely stay at the apartment,with AC in bedroom and living room (it was so needed and so good to have it), good night sleeps in a big and comfortable bed (mattress is firm) and quiet room even though it faces the street, great big balcony to enjoy the meals,you can even see a little of the sea on the horizon. It's good location for those who come to enjoy the beach, with the beach being less than 5 minutes walk down the road, good restaurants walking distance but also easy access with public transport to Chania old Town (20/30 minutes even less with car). You have the basics for cooking meals and even a clothes rack to hang beach towels (pool towel was provided). I enjoyed the time on the pool area with nice new deck chairs and clean pool The owner was very welcoming and always helpful with information or to try and acomodate specific needs within his possibilities. In fridge I could find cold drinks which was so appreciated on arrival. Thank you!

Cons: I enjoyed my stay at Villa Armonia, felt safe and comfortable, to elevate the experience I would say it does need a bigger shower and if pool area had a little more privacy from the street would make space even more relaxing.

Pros: Pool and the proximity of the nearest beach. Chania was Alain only a 10 minute bus journey away.

Pros: The villa is comfortable and has a perfect location. Close to Kalamaki beach , restaurants and shops. Our apartment was very comfortable and with a nice balcony and nice furniture .

Pros: The pool was amazing, you could swim whenever you wanted to. The apartment was clean, there was a very good equipped kitchen, we were able to cook ourselves breakfast or dinner with no problems. Two couches in the living room with an amazing view on the pool and the sea in the back. The beach was only a 5 minute walk away down the street. The owner was the nicest person we’ve met, very welcoming and gave us many informative tips.

Cons: There was nothing that would make us dislike the property or the location!!
