Alonia Hotel Apartments

Pros: I stayed at Alonia Hotel Apartments in Kolymbari from 16–23 September and really enjoyed my time here. The hotel is clean, quiet, and very good value for money — in my opinion, the price was fair for what it offers. It’s about 10 minutes from the beach, close to the bus station to Chania, and in a very peaceful area. The owners are kind, receptive, and always willing to help. A small but great gesture was that although check-in was officially at 14:00, I arrived early at 9:30 and my room was already ready. The same flexibility applied at checkout too. The apartment was spacious, well-equipped with all the basics for cooking and storing food, and even a coffee machine was provided when I asked. I truly enjoyed my stay and highly recommend it!

Pros: I was very satisfied with the apartment – everything was just fine. The furniture and equipment are a bit old, but that didn’t bother us at all. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and they changed our towels and bed linen every day. The pool was great, as well as the bar by the pool. Overall, we had a really nice stay.

Pros: The peaceful ambience of the setting, which is detached from the road. The individualised poolside-food service. A very clean pool and lawn. Front desk attention and advice. Cheerful owners. Local retail consumables. Advice on the locality. Local catering. Local car hire.

Pros: Spacious rooms , very clean and well equiped . Staff is perfect and goes the extra mile for you.

A New Discovery !

Pros: The whole location, garden and pool area. Pol bar with good selection of snacks & cold drinks fridge. Excellent management and staff. Daily cleaning. Good offroad parking, also on main bus route to Chania if required. Less than a mile from Supermarkets and Kolymbari.

Cons: No complaints whatsoever.A New Discovery

Pros: We enjoyed our stay at Alonia. Very friendly and accomodating staff. Nice pool. Our room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The location is good for visiting a lot of different beaches in the area, while also being close to Chania.

Quiet and comfortable stay, with easy access to Chania.

Pros: The place wasn`t busy, so we had plenty of space and peace. The pool was really useful, and again not busy. Though we didn`t order breakfast there was a lovely bakery close by which also provided simple breakfast food. Handy for getting around by car, but the regular bus into Chania stopped near to the apartments.

Cons: We were, Initially, allocated to the wrong room, but the staff were happy to change us to a better room, away from the road.
