George & Helen's House

Pros: We definitely recommend this gorgeous house. The interior is new and modern, the jacuzzi is gorgeous, and the little garden outside is beautiful. Elena, the owner, was welcoming and very helpful.

Perfect secluded stay with everything you need

Pros: Everything about our stay was perfect. Elena was extremely accommodating, the house was immaculate and with absolutely everything we needed. The area is gorgeous and secluded. The washing machine was an absolute bonus!

Cons: Nothing. It was perfect

Pros: We had a very good stay! The jacuzzi was really nice to cool down and relax after a long hiking day. The house had everything we needed (and more) for a short stay and was also really clean.

Lovely property, great hosts in traditional village.

Pros: Exceptional hosts and extremely helpful (jump started our car and wouldn’t let us pay them)They gifted us fruit, wine and many other items, even cooked traditional Greek food! Very quiet village but only 30 minutes to Chania Town. Hosts sent very helpful video to locate the property.

Cons: We would have a concern around privacy - there are 3 CCTV surveillance devices and one is pointing directly towards the hot tub 😳 others are on entrance and down the pathway. Stairs to mezzanine bedroom are quite steep and challenging for people with mobility issues.

A Perfect stay.

Pros: It's hard to find, but in a good location really. Walk into village centre in 3 minutes. A good restaurant, a mini mart and coffee house in centre. Helen and George have made a perfect little house. Nice views and tastefully decorated. Comfortable and lots of seating areas outside or inside. Many nice touches and helpful hosts. Lovely. The neighbours noisy dogs were the only thing annoying. But it's still great.

Ένα πολύ όμορφο σπίτι σε ένα γραφικό χωριό

Pros: το σπίτι είναι μέσα στο χωριό, με όμορφη και περιποιημένη αυλή, χωρίς οπτική επαφή με τους γείτονες και πολύ κοντά στις δύο ταβέρνες. Υπάρχει και μια βεράντα που μπορείς να καθίσεις, πέρα από την αυλή. Το σπίτι είναι πολύ όμορφο και περιποιημένο και έχει όλες τις ανέσεις είτε για σύντομη διαμονή είτε για πολυήμερη. η οικοδέσποινα είναι πολύ πρόθυμη και επεξεγηματική. Το τζακούζι είναι bonus ειδικά αν δε θέλεις να κατέβεις στη θάλασσα.

Cons: Γενικά μας άρεσε πάρα πολύ, το μόνο αρνητικό του ήταν το πολύ σκληρό στρώμα.

COMODA E ARREDATA CON GRANDE ATTENZIONE ALLE NECESSITÀ DELL'OSPITE

Pros: Io e mio marito soggiorniamo spesso in case vacanze, ma altrettanto spesso troviamo strutture riadattate in qualche modo, messe lì tanto per ottenere un guadagno extra, senza nessuna cura o attenzione verso il cliente. La casa di George and Helen è invece tutto il contrario! Una casa spaziosa, confortevole, ben accessoriata in ogni suo ambiente, dalla cucina alla camera da letto. Nuovissima e silenziosa (si trova in un paesino delizioso a circa 20-30 minuti da Chania), è una base ideale per esplorare una delle zone più affascinanti di Creta. Che cosa ci ha colpito? La cura e l’attenzione a ogni dettaglio, a ogni particolare che potesse rendere più comoda e facile la permanenza di un ospite, proprio come se fosse a casa sua. Vi trovavi qualsiasi cosa tu avessi bisogno. Ringraziamo davvero tantissimo Helen per la sua splendida accoglienza e per la sua casa confortevole e riposante.

Cons: Niente. La casa va benissimo com'è. Purtroppo, nel periodo in cui abbiamo soggiornato, si sono svolte varie feste paesane nei dintorni e il rumore è stato davvero fastidioso, la notte. Ma, è ovvio, si è trattato soltanto di sfortuna: la casa, in sé, è in una zona molto tranquilla.

Pros: Dans un petit village avec commodités à moins de 5 mn à pied. Apparemment tranquille et confortable. Hélène est une super fille, elle vous recommandera de bonne adresse.
