Pros: This apartment served our needs well. It was a good size, allowed us to do a bit of self catering, and had parking. The all round balcony allowed us to catch the sun most of the day. Anna, our Hostess, was very welcoming and helpful. There was a decent bakers down the hill, and a Lidl up the hill

Cons: The evenongs were getting cooler, and we found it a bit chilly at night, so a couple of extra sheets would have been welcome. It is a bit of a walk into town (about 30 minutes) and there are no decent bars or restaurants close by (the Beer and Burger place up the road was a little soulless)

Great stay

Pros: Great apartment, very spacious and with an amazing view. Everything was provided and clean, host is very helpful and responsive.

well appointed with marvellous balcony

Pros: This is an extremely nice and well appointed apartment, with very good facilities, and a marvellous balcony and views over the sea and towards Chania. It is in a nice elevated neighbourhood with a supermarket close and bakery within a 7 minute walk, and a nice cove and swimming place within a 10 minute walk. The owner makes sure that there are basics inside the apartment in case you arrive late - pizza in the freezer, coffee, washing up liquid etc. which is a very nice touch. The new archeological museum nearby in Helepa is worth a visit but is expensive at 15 euros entry. The cafeteria there is great.

Cons: Very little, but the parking situation was not so clear. There is no allocated parking place for the flat. There is a driveway that is quite steep (downwards) and shared, and not one that would be convenient to use everyday. That said, it is easy to park on road in close by residential areas. There is a bus stop near the flat, but I wasn't able to work out how to use the bus (my bad). The walk to Chania is (by my legs) 40 minutes, not 20 minutes, and even if partly by the sea and quite nice, is long.

Unforgettable memory

Pros: Without a doubt, one of the best holiday apartments I’ve ever rented: spacious, tastefully furnished, with a large eat-in kitchen, a very spacious living room with a big TV and Netflix, air conditioning, and above all, a stunning balcony that wraps around the entire apartment, offering panoramic views of the sea and the magnificent sunset. The apartment is just a few minutes’ drive from the center of Chania, strategically located near the main roads leading to the most popular destinations, and there’s no problem finding parking. Finally, Anna is a professional and perfect host: she replies instantly to any request and, if needed, takes action very quickly. I hope to come back soon!

Cons: The only thing that could be improved is the bathroom, which is quite small and has a bathtub with a shower that might be uncomfortable for a tall person (not my case). But this is a minor detail, largely outweighed by all the other excellent features described abovr

Amazing place

Pros: Everything was perfect, clean, new and beautiful. Anna was a super host :) Slightly outside the city centre but still an incredible location (you need a car anyway in Chania)

Enjoyable stay near Chania

Pros: Very responsive host, comfortable flat, near Chania, and fairly quiet. Rooms were generally comfortable, sofas and bed slightly firm but still able to relax, shower pressure was great, kitchen fairly well equipped (bonus: washing machine), and really appreciated the small touches like an additional hair dryer, ample towels and toilet paper. Air conditioning in the lounge and bedrooms very good, even when 32-35C outside. Internet speeds good, and had Netflix setup by default on the TV which was helpful. Very quiet - couldn't hear the neighbours or cars unless windows open or outside on the balcony.

Cons: Tandem parking isn't ideal. The other flat's occupants were quite kind so we arranged each night to swap whose car was blocked in based on the next morning's departure times so it worked out fine even though a slight faff. Kitchen can be a little hot as the air conditioning from other rooms doesn't fully reach, so we only used the oven once as a bit too hot (vs. typically would've used daily). There was a little misunderstanding as to which flat initially, but resolved quickly on the day so we could stay on the ground floor where the bigger balcony which also had the updated bathroom.

Pros: We had a truly memorable stay at this wonderful place. The accommodation is very clean, modern and spacious, with a lovely terrace offering a beautiful sea view. The rooms are large and comfortable — perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We really appreciated the small touches from our host, like the fresh juices waiting for us in the fridge on arrival — such a kind gesture! Anna was also amazing with her recommendations for things to do and local restaurants to try — we discovered some real gems thanks to her advice. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful stay in Crete. Thank you so much for your warm welcome!

Beautiful apartment in a peaceful, friendly neighbourhood. Fantastic host!

Pros: Anna was a brilliant communicator. She messaged us before our trip, provided lots of information throughout our stay and helped with our taxi when we left. She even carried my very heavy suitcase up the stairs when we arrived! The apartment was beautiful and the location was superb - so much more peaceful than Chania town. We spent many relaxing hours on the balcony watching buzzards and swallows and gazing at the sea.

Cons: We loved it all.

Pros: Stunning views, the property is exceptionally clean with everything you need for a great stay. The host was excellent and made the whole trip a relaxing experience & sorted car hire for us to 🙂
