Pros: A beautiful and peaceful place with a lovely garden where you can truly relax. The room had everything we needed – clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The highlight, however, was the owner – such a wonderful and kind person. She told us about the best places to visit, gave us a list of restaurants with delicious food, and even added her own special recommendations. Highly recommended – the perfect spot to relax and explore the charm of Crete. 🌞💙

Pros: We had the most wonderful stay at Pension Katerina. Dora is truly amazing — one of the kindest and most thoughtful hosts we have ever met. She made us feel like family from the first day. Everything was spotless, cleaned every day with so much care, and the little touches (coffee, sugar, even homemade cake) made our holiday unforgettable. The location is perfect — just a short walk to the beach and Chania Old Town, but peaceful and quiet at night. Our room was comfortable, cozy, and had everything we needed. Dora went above and beyond in every way. She is the heart of this pension, and we cannot thank her enough for her warmth, generosity, and genuine hospitality. We will definitely return and recommend Pension Katerina to anyone visiting Chania. Dora, thank you for making our holiday feel like home ❤️

Cons: Nothing we didn’t like — everything was wonderful! Just a small suggestion: adding USB ports or integrated USB plugs in the rooms would make it easier for foreign guests to charge phones and devices.

Pros: The location is perfect, right near the beach, the apartment was very clean, big, and fully equipped with anything you would need. Cleaning is also done daily. Dora was a very great and friendly host, recommended us on things to do and places to check, she also waited for us with watermelon and lemon cake. We had a great stay here, fully recommend this location.

Ideal place to see everything in Chania, staff were lovely, excellent value for money. I’ll be back!

Pros: - Huge bed! - location to beaches and the old town was great - 10 min to the bus station, 5 mins to the beachfront, 10 mins to other beaches, 15 mins to old town - self catering facilities were great and supermarkets very close - Dora was so accommodating when I needed to check in very late and communicate via whatsapp on anything I’d need - she was very kind when I got sick - other guests were friendly and respectful, especially those with a shared patio - property is cleaned daily - perfect property if you plan to spend the days and evenings enjoying the local area and very good value for money - shower had excellent water pressure and heat

Cons: - the mattress was a little hard and uncomfy for someone who struggles with a bad back! But nothing I haven’t experienced in Greece before - the bathroom is more of a wet room and the shower a bit awkwardly placed but again quite common set up in Greece and worked absolutely fine

Pros: Dora is a truly amazing host! From the very beginning, she gave me clear and helpful explanations on how to get the key, what to see in the area, and where to eat. She was always happy to help with anything I needed and made me feel truly welcome. The room was perfect - spotlessly clean, in excellent condition, and equipped with everything I could need. There was a fridge, a small cooking area, and all worked perfectly. The apartment is in a fantastic location - peaceful yet right in the heart of everything. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommended!

Pros: I’ve chosen Villa Katerina for my very last minute getaway solo trip and I absolutely loved it. Location is perfect as it’s only 15 minutes on foot from the harbour/port, bus station/beach but also when you get back to your room it’s silent. Dora is an amazing lady who is always there to assist you. I had the best time in Chania and already can’t wait to go back.
