Melani Apartments

First time Hania visitors

Pros: Lovely welcoming and hospitality. Spacious room. Excellent value for money. Wonderful start for a road trip holiday. Loved the morning swims. Parking was available (and Google maps directions worked well to the location). For us the accommodation was within walking distance from the city centre. Also bus connections would work. Quiet location.

Cons: Zero complaints.

Pros: Our stay at Melani was amazing. The beds were big and comfy, kitchenette big enough to prepare some breakfast. And this view from the balcony! Room was also cleaned every other day. The hosts are very friendly and attentive - great people.

Cons: Maybe the bathrooms need some renovation but what's important is - they were clean.

Great stay

Pros: Great position, not too close to the centre so it's nice and peaceful. The beach was an added bonus. Sunbeds were included. Great view from our room.

Cons: Outdated rooms The shower was extremely small and uncomfortable.

Very welcoming and would recommend to everyone.

Pros: The room had a retro feeling which I really liked and our balcony had sea view so we could enjoy the sunset every night. The sea is like 2 steps away from the accommmodation and place has a lovely taverna with excellent seafood. We ate there twice and it was wonderful to sit next to the sea listen to the wave and enjoy dinner. The people there (whom I assume are the owners) were wonderful they greeted us and checked if everything is okay they made it feel like homely. I would definitely go back even if it is just to greet them and have dinner there. Thank you for everything, we spent a really great week there.

Perfect location, lovely hosts

Pros: Nice and quiet. Old fashioned but very clean and perfect location. Everything we needed.

Cons: We liked it all. The bed was slightly uncomfortable but not too bad.

Location is perfect. Owner is perfect.

Pros: Can you imagine that owner of the apartment were waiting for us till 4am in the morning to give us key. And not just key. He was waiting us with cold bottle of wine, cold bottle of water and cold watermelone. This was first impression. Perfect!! Then we woke up in the morning, sea and sounds of waves were magnificent. Sea and the beach are two steps from appartment. Food in the taverna in front is amazing. The service, smiles and kidnes make us feel that have visited our relatives who lives on Crete. Thank you very much for your hospitality and for sure we will come again. Hope very soon!

Perfect location next to the beach

Pros: The location was great just next to the shore and a beach. The family run taverna on the ground floor. Nice view from the balcony. Very nice owners family greeting and saying goodbye to their guests with bottle of wine 😊

Cons: The hotel would benefit with renovation work as quite outdated but clean

Pros: Love the location, right on a beach that’s not that crowded. The view from the apartment balcony is also magical

Super worth place to be in

Pros: Very cozy flat right in front of the sea with a great view There's small shops, bars, coffes and restaurants all around The city center is a little bit far but is a very doable walk there and back

Pros: The owner showed me the room and also provided me with a welcome wine and water. I also enjoyed the food at their restaurant beside the appartment :)
