I enjoyed my stay and would return.
Pros: The apartment was compact but with all the necessary amenities. I liked the location so close to the beach and shops and restaurants in Kalives.
Cons: You could hear traffic noise from the road and there was no outside space suitable for drying things or outside views.

Pros: I really liked everything, the location, everything I needed for comfort. They met me late in the evening, explained and showed me everything, and left a basket with all sorts of delicious food.
Cons: The walls are thin and scooters are often parked under the windows.

Nice for a short stay
Pros: The location of the apartment is ideal if you wish to spend time on the beach. Also the proximity of cafés and restaurants is an asset. The hosts are friendly and easily accessible. The apartment has a washer/dryer which is definitely a pro.
Cons: The thin wall separating the apartment from the bike and car rental next door lets sounds of conversations and phone calls seep through.

Great place for a relaxing holiday and/or to discover Crete
Pros: Don't be discouraged by the lack of reviews as we were the first guests in this apartment. The place is amazing and the property manager responds fast and is helpful. The biggest pro of the apartment is the close proximity to the beach, which is about 20m and quite empty and beautiful. Besides that, everything you'd imagine is there, a lot of kitchen equipment for cooking, AC works well, there is a washing machine, there really wasn't anything we'd have needed in addition. (The only thing was an umbrella for the sun which we bought and left in the apartment for the next guests to enjoy.) We mainly relaxed on the beach and did not rent a car. We made day trips by public bus to Chania and Georgiopoulis, so that's an option, too, in case it was not on your radar. We were very warmly welcomed and would recommend it to everyone who is looking for a quiet vacation.
Cons: A minor thing but we prefer more soft beds and cushions but besides them being too hard for us we have nothing to complain about.
