Great apartment right by the sea.
Pros: Great location right by the sea. Very helpful owners. Apartment large and perfectly equipped. Lots of gifts including breakfast snacks, local alcohols as well as fruit and great olive oil from Crete. Very nice surroundings, swimming pool with comfortable armchairs and a very well-kept garden. Convenient parking space.
Cons: Everything was perfect.

Pros: great location to visit Balos, Elafonisi, Falassarna, Kissamos and all points south. Easy drive from the airport too. Wonderful rooms, beautiful balconies (front and back) and views, right on the beach. Very well equipped apartment, everything you could possibly need and a very generous welcome pack of bread, ham, cheese, wine, beer, raki, coffee and much more. There was real thought into also providing tablets for the washing machine and dishwasher and toiletries. Nikos and his wife were charming and provided good info on local restaurants and things to do. She also baked us cakes and delicious cheese pies. There's a mini market 5 minutes walk for fresh bread, fruit and more. A number of very good tavernas and 2 specialist fish restaurants in walking distance - Agrokali was the best, a walk along the beach.
Cons: nothing, all fabulous.

Pros: Incredibly nice and helpful host, his wife baked us delicious salty Greek pastries in the morning (photo). Upon arrival, ham, cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, cold beer :) and soft drinks were waiting for us in the fridge, fruit and bread on the table, which was great considering we arrived late at night after a day of travel. The place is perfect for trips to the nearby beaches. For us it was a base for a repeat visit to Balos, Elafonisi and Falassarna beaches.

Eine moderne, liebevolle, wunderschön gelegene und ruhige Unterkunft direkt am Strand mit Pool.
Pros: Wir hatten das Appartement im OG für 2 Personen Ende September für 2 Wochen. Die ruhige, einsame und untouristische Lage direkt am Kieselstrand (man muss nur die kleine unbefahrene Zugangsstraße überqueren) mit Pool ist unfassbar schön und erholsam. Im Appartement ist sehr sauber und es ist alles da, was man braucht. Nikos und seine Frau sind die liebevollsten, aufmerksamsten Gastgeber, die man haben kann. Wir hatten zum Einzug direkt einen gefüllten Kühlschrank (Wurst, Käse, Brot, 2 verschiedene Melonen, Äpfel, Bananen, Wasser, Bier, selbst gebackenen Kuchen, Olivenöl aus Eigenanbau, Essig, Salz, Pfeffer, Raki, Spülmaschinentabs, Waschmaschinentabs, Küchenrolle, Klopapier) und Nikos kam 3 x mit selbstgebackenen Tiropitakias seiner Frau und hat jedes Mal nachgefragt, wann uns Putzen in die Planung passt. Den Außenbereich haben die beiden täglich gesäubert, immer dann, wenn ihn keiner der Gäste genutzt hat.
Cons: Bei stärkerem Wind und Wellen ist das Meer nicht nutzbar, allerdings ist das ein allgemeines Problem im Norden der Insel. Allerdings kann man innerhalb einer Stunde im Süden die Strände erkunden und auch in den Westen sind es nur 40 Min. Autofahrt.

Pros: Beautiful views from balcony / backyard. 10 min drive by car to Kissamos, which made finding food & things to do very easy! 30 minutes away from Chania. You can also walk to 3 different restaurants, however due to the time of year we went they were not all opened regular hours. The owner, Nikos, was incredibly friendly & helpful!! He provided us with fruit, drinks, olive oil, & delicious pastries (pictured before they devoured)!!!
Cons: It was difficult to find, however we did not have working GPS at the time of arrival. Fortunately the locals were incredibly helpful in getting us there.

Perfect place next to the beach and great restaurants
Pros: Amazing place with great views and wonderful staff. They were so kind and friendly. This place is perfectly oriented and I wish I could stay there longer!
