Super clean huge apartments - and the pool is fab.

Pros: Amazing pool. Absolutely spotless - and huge apartment. Very comfortable beds. It really was lovely. It’s super basic - but it’s so clean and we liked the area - we had a car which I think is needed to visit other areas and get a sandy beach.

Cons: I really would have liked a washing machine - the apartments are large enough to have one for sure.

Pros: This was such a lovely place to stay. It is out of the busier, more touristy areas so was very peaceful and relaxing but is still close to everything you want to explore during the days. The facilities were great (especially the pool) and everything was always clean. Spyros and his family were so lovely and welcoming, always up for a chat and giving tips of great places too see and eat. As a solo traveller this is always appreciated. Would definitely recommend staying here :)

Perfect!

Pros: First family holiday abroad and couldn’t have been anymore perfect. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable with beautiful views. The pool was our favourite, perfect temperature and very quiet, we often had the pool to ourselves in the middle of August! Short walk to some lovely restaurants, the beach and the bus stop. Spiros was a lovely host, and makes a great breakfast. He organised our hire car and very nice transport back to the airport. He works hard to maintain his beautiful well kept garden. Great location for those wanting a quiet getaway away from the crowds. I am very eager to come and stay again :)

Loved it! Just what we needed - quiet, clean and spacious place 5min walk from the beach :)

Pros: My and my friend really loved this place. If you need a quiet place with a beach and local taverna just 5min walking distance, this is the perfect place (imagine waking up to the sound of waves). Cleaning lady comes every day which is usually rare for private accommodation, so it was a big plus. There is a parking for the car, it's possible to buy tickets directly from the host for most popular trips around, and pool was super clean. Apartment was spacious and has a Greek village vibe which we really liked! Also, if you plan to visit sandy beaches - part of the island, location is amazing as you avoid traffic jam around Chania, and on the other hand it's only 20min away from Chania if you decide to go to the city. Tavronitis beach is very long and calm, and local taverna has live music on Fridays (we had good time there and met some locals).

Cons: We didn't have complaints, all was as expected.

Pros: The villa is in a great location. You can get easily to all the beaches around! There's not much to do in Tavronitis because is a small village but you can reach Chania in 25 mins. We also enjoyed the view from the balcony and the pool. The host is such a kind and nice person! He recommended us what beaches to visit and he also offered to make breakfast for us. The cleaning lady comes every day except for Sunday, generally all good

Cons: There are not many tools in the kitchen and they didn’t change our towels for the whole week

Pros: Amazing place, most beautiful garden we have ever seen. Peaceful place by the sea. View from the balcony was just breathtaking. Room was cleaned every day. Comfortable beds and pillows. I would recommend this place to everyone who wants to relax in peace. And the owner is incredibly kind and helpful. He gave us a few important tips what to see and how to get around. Overall we are super happy we got the chance to stay at this great place!

A relaxing short stay in comfortable apartments, with a lovely garden and swimming pool.

Pros: The apartments were lovely. Our host welcomed us on arrival with coffee in a shady bit of the garden, and could not have been more friendly and helpful. Our apartment was spacious and comfortable with a good sized balcony. The garden and swimming pool were wonderful. Our host was also helpful about our final day when we had to wait until early evening for our taxi to the airport.

Cons: The only complaint we had was about the smoked glass cups in our kitchen. My husband started to make a cup of tea and when he poured the water from the kettle into the cup with a tea bag in it, the cup literally exploded into hundreds of small glass pieces which scatted across the room! Having obtained a brush and dustpan from the owner, (and a replacement ceramic cup!) he swept up, and tried the second glass cup, with water which was well below boiling point this time, and exactly the same thing happened again! Our host didn't seem particularly concerned, but gave us another ceramic cup! Fortunately my husband wasn't cut, and no real harm done, apart from a lot of time wasted clearing up bits of glass, but if it had happened in our daughter's apartment, with an 18 month old toddler and a lot of baby stuff around, it would have been a very different story. He needs to replace those smoked glass cups throughout the apartments!

Super séjour!

Pros: Chambre plutôt grande et très propre. Très belle vue sur la piscine et la plage. Piscine au top, plage accessible à pied mais ce n'est pas le meilleur endroit pour se baigner. Pour découvrir l'île, louer une voiture semble indispensable car l'endroit est assez isolé. Bon accueil.

Cons: Le pommeau de la douche plutôt vétuste!

Rilassante

Pros: Il proprietario sempre disponibile e gentile. La bella struttura. La piscina. La tranquillità.

Cons: Cucina poco attrezzata.
