Kares Dream House

Pros: The apartment has everything you need. Owner's mother (Dina) was treating us better then we are treated at home :) The location is unique - true Cretan countryside - very well for forgetting about the business of towns and cities. The internet works well - there are more options to connect (including Starlink).

Extraordinary warm welcome with homemade pastries, fruits and pies. Very well equipped, good for a family with 2 kids, q

Pros: Exceptionally friendly welcome, very clean, newly equipped and comfortable, good value for money

Cons: The only not so perfect feature is the location. On one hand it’s a very quiet area, on the other- it’s quite far from other villages, shops, dining places

Pros: The accommodation is located in the mountains, the shop is a 20 minute drive away. I definitely recommend it to people looking for peace. The owner's mother is a wonderful woman who takes care of all the comfort, she is very friendly and nice. She prepared a lot of local dishes for us.

Pros: The property is some way away from the big cities and has glorious views & lovely sounds of the nature. A lovely ambiance to start a morning in. Getting there requires driving through some mountain roads, however the roads are all paved and have very little traffic, making the drive relatively straightforward. Hosts were really friendly and advised us on best places to visit or to have a dinner at.

Great escape from the city in a comfortable flat

Pros: The flat is equipped with all things needed, shower gel, hair dryer, French press, tv, air condition, … There are two options to sit outside and we enjoyed having breakfast in the shadow of a tree. At our arrival the host spent some fruits and cool Drinks :-) We really enjoyed the silence in the mountains, only thing you hear are goats, sheep’s, crickets and sometimes a dog.

Pros: Wir waren im September 2025 in Kares Dream House und sind begeistert: ein liebevoll eingerichtetes und sehr sauberes Haus mit Garten und Sitzgelegenheiten im Außenbereich, an Ausstattung fehlte hier nichts. Die Gastgeber sind sehr zuvorkommend, wir haben verschiedene kretische Köstlichkeiten erhalten und für unseren Strandbesuch wurde auch ein Sonnenschirm herbeigezaubert ;-) Die Unterkunft liegt am Fuß der \

Felt like home away from home! So charming, it’s the perfect mountain escape when you get tired of the beaches or city!

Pros: Very spacious, beautiful, and homey. Stocked with everything you’d need to live comfortably. Just bring your groceries, or don’t. Dina fed us so much and kept us so well taken care of that we ended up leaving with more food than we brought. Apple trees all over the property too! Absolute angel. Tons of games to play, fresh coffee and tea, fresh fruit and cookies baked by Dina herself.

Cons: Jacuzzi takes 12 hours to heat up so if you want to go in at night you must turn it on in the morning and you must remain at home the entire time so the electricity doesn’t go out.

One of the best we’ve ever had ,heart warming with all the most amazing beaches

Pros: Loved Kares Dream House !!!We didn’t want to leave !. We will try to come back next year if possible . The house is extremely clean . Te best of all was that we felt so welcome , we were treated to the most delicious Greek sweets and special food by the owner’s mother , a beautiful person !!! This eas worth so much !! The location is a bit far ,but staying at Karens hoyse allowed us to go to be most amazing beachesand at the same time enjoy the real Greek hospitality and mountain life !!!

Une maison tout confort aux coeurs des montagnes crétoises.

Pros: Extra . Les hôtes sont très gentils, accueillants. La dame nous a offert des fruits, des cookies maison et des spécialités crétoises. Même ma famille n'est pas aussi gentille 😜. Le jacuzzi est un plus .Un grand merci aux hotes

Cons: Un peu isolé. Excellent pour une mise au vert. 🙏Mon seul regret est que le séjour était trop court. 😉
