Microcosmos Halepas

Pros: We loved our stay at Microcosmos Halepas. Panagiotis was a fantastic host - kind, helpful and informative. We had a car so we were able to explore around the island, but we honestly could have just spent our time in the neighbourhood around the accommodation and been more than happy! In walking distance you have beautiful beaches, stunning sunsets, restaurants, cafes, minimarkets, and lots of local cats (including the gentleman host cat Flash/Astraps).

Cons: Our only complaint is that we didn't stay longer! We hope to come back someday soon.

Pros: Charming studio in an old beautiful house in a very fascinating area. Surrounded by abandoned leather industry buildings and local people.There is wonderful peace everywhere and the magnificent sea is very close. There are also shops, a bakery and cafes nearby. And it is an easy and pleasant walk to the old town of Chania. We loved this place and its orange cat. We would definitely like to come back soon. The host family living upstairs were very friendly and hospitable. We also got to hear the host's beautiful lyre playing in the evenings.

A little jewel in the heart of Chania

Pros: The house is near the center, very close to fantastic beaches, restaurants and everything you might need during your stay. The hosts are true Cretans, very polite and helpful as they live on the top floor. I highly recommend this place if you're into relaxing and peaceful holidays in Chania.

Very relaxed people. Panagiotis really helped us providing good food tips and things to do in Crete.

Pros: The location was great, Helepa area is relaxed and close to the city centre.

Pros: Marvellous location, very welcoming host with special knowledge about Greek myths, language, Cretan landscape etc. The room is very cozy and has everything one needs. The city centre is approximately 20 min away by foot. Thumbs up! 👌🏼

Pros: The accomodation was comfortable and felt like home for us. We loved that it was within walking distance to Chania and only a short drive from other beach locations. There are a few beautiful swimming spots within walking distance as well. Coming from Scotland, air conditioning was very high on our priority list and this place was lovely and cool. We had a warm welcome from both Panagiotis and Apollonia. They organised flowers in the room especially for our honeymoon and let us borrow extra towels for the beach. We really enjoyed chatting with them and learning more about Greek culture and traditional music on our last day. Their cat, Flash, was also very friendly and would greet us at the door most mornings. I would highly recommend staying here and would come back without hesitation. Also the washing machine was a great addition!

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: The apartment was beautiful, it was exactly as described/ shown. We loved the balcony and outdoor area and ate breakfast there most mornings. It is well situated, right next to the sea and some beautiful sunsets. It is about a 25 minute walk along the coast to the Venetian harbour. There are some great cafes and restaurants within a few minutes of the property. The kitchen facilities are good for cooking meals. The bed is very comfortable. We were able to park outside the property easily every day. We were given great recommendations by the host who was welcoming. I would recommend this property if you want to stay in Chania!

Cons: There is currently a lot of construction in the surrounding area, though this should be done before summer and will transform the area.

Pros: Todo fue perfecto. La preciosa casa, la ubicación y el anfitrión y su mujer. Todo ha sido fácil en esta casa con su anfitrión, que nos aconsejó maravillas.

Pros: Sehr gemütliche Unterkunft, sehr freundliche Besitzer, sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr bequemes Bett, immer wieder gerne!
