Alexandros Luxury House

Pros: Our trip to Crete began with this accommodation, and after changing a couple of places, we've realized that this one was the best! At this place, we've felt somewhat like home, where we were expected and welcomed. Everything was prepared for our stay, from cleanliness, amenities to even some groceries done for us, and waiting in the fridge. Thank you << >> for your effort to make our arrival much pleasant because we and our toddler barely slept the night before arrival. So the hospitality was great, the location of the villa just perfect for us (if you enjoy peace and silence, and when's windy, you can even hear the waves from the window), the patio, the garden and even the fig trees where absolutely amazing. The see is 5 minutes walking, and the main beach is 5 minutes by car. The food in the area is one of the tastiest in the region, because of the freshest vegetables grown in the area. We sincerely recommend this place, and we'd love to be back one day.

Pros: Very friendly and helpful communication with the host. Beautyful and comfortable house with everything you need for holidays. Not directly in but next to the beach and to a loveley Tavern with great food.

Absolutely amazing a stay to remember!!!

Pros: The property is absolutely stunning! So tastefully done up with high quality touches! You couldn’t ask for anything more! The owners are amazing so generous and kind! We stayed there for the week of our local wedding and they decorated the house upon our arrival and left us wedding cakes, champagne, perlini and flowers everywhere!!! So special! Plus a fridge full of food 🥰 during the week they even brought us stuffed vegetables and Alexander himself brought us delicious cucumbers cut straight from his field.

Best place to relax in Falasarna, close to greatest beaches of Crete

Pros: Quiet place, great house and facilities, tranquilty and of course hosts of the house, who welcomed us, and several times brought us mousaka and fruits.

Peaceful, restful. A swimmer's delight!

Pros: The hospitality of the owners was amazing. Incredibly generous and thoughtful. They provided us with vegetables from their garden, cooked us local delicacies and gave us fresh eggs! A bottle of wine and the local drink welcomed us, along with snacks a plenty. They were just so kind and welcoming!

Cons: When you first arrive, perhaps the surroundings are a little disappointing. The house is beautiful but on the small side. It is located in the middle of a working farm area, surrounded by tented/covered green houses where vegetables are grown. So aesthetically it is not a (visually) soft surrounding. The beach is 300 meters or so down a road - but not really in eye sight. The beach itself is rocky and shoes are needed to navigate getting in and out of the water. However, once you make peace with those aspects, you realise just how lucky you are to be there. It is so so quiet. The beach is practically yours alone, in sharp contrast with the crowded beaches elsewhere and nearby (at least at high season). There is a small open air tavern at one end of the local beach, serving excellent food and wine. A five minute walk there and you can sit with a glass of fine wine to watch the most beautiful sunset. The tranquility, ease of access to the beach, lack of touristic development - all of it is so wonderful, if that is what you like. And we liked it very much indeed!

Simply a great place to stay in

Pros: The accomodation is located in a very peaceful and beautiful area of Crete. The accomodation is very modern, comfortable and super clean. The accomodation has great facilitites with lots of extra special touches such as luxury toiletries, etc. The owners are very lovely and friendly people and ensured that all our needs were met. This included them bringing delicious homecooked greek food to us a few times. The area is located next to an impressive beach which you can walk for miles around if you wish. There are a number of nice restaurants also within walking distance. I really recommend this accomodation it was fantastic.

Großartiges modernes Haus in ruhiger Lage

Pros: Wir waren zwei Wochen im November in diesem wunderschönen modernen Haus, wenn auf Kreta Ruhe einkehrt und viele Tavernen schließen und in ihre verdiente Winterpause gehen. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man zum Kochen benötigt. In den Betten haben wir ausgezeichnet geschlafen. Überhaupt sind alle Räume schön groß. Besonders hat uns der blühende Garten hinter dem Haus gefallen. Mit fantastischem Blick auf die umliegenden Berge und den ganzen Vormittag Sonne, konnte man gemütlich lesen und Kaffee trinken. Den großen Gasgrill auf der vorderen überdachten Terrasse haben wir oft und gern genutzt. Unsere Gastgeberin Alexandra war immer erreichbar und aufmerksam. An dieser Stelle ebenfalls nochmal einen herzlichen Dank an die Großeltern, die uns mit griechischen Köstlichkeiten verwöhnt haben. Gastfreundschaft wurde hier in einem ganz hohen Level gelebt. Es waren zwei fantastische ruhige und erholsame Wochen.
