An idyllic and charming home in a glorious setting, enjoy!

Pros: The house was perfect and had so many lovely touches to make it very easy to relax and have fun. The views are wonderful, as expected, and the facilities were well thought through to make it so easy to settle in and enjoy a magical setting.

Cons: Just to note that one of the things to remember for such a lovely quiet location is that a car is pretty much essential. Other than that the only other downside was having to leave (especially as the house has been adopted by a friendly and charming ginger and white cat).

Pros: Everything. In-house. So much thought has been put in to provide what is needed. Every cupboard or draw I opened had surprises. From the welcome pack to the last day, I was finding things that were so helpful. Tv, WiFi, and AC are all in place. An excellent kitchen with all the utensils and condiments. The Garden I could get lost amongst the olive trees. Smelling the herbs or picking the limes. Outside kitchen, numerous places to sit, read, drink and eat. Out on the roof, like a deck of a ferry, looking out across the bay towards the sea, sun loungers wait your company. Showers in the garden. Children's play area. Secure fencing with electronic sliding gate. The list goes on. Laundry, Hammock, Landscaping. So much detail.

Cons: I love good showers. This was ok, certainly not bad, but could be better.

Pros: The place was spotless. So much space inside and out of the property, so many interesting and different places to sit. Loved the views, olive grove and the generous offerings left for us in the fridge when we arrived. It’s the little things that make a difference, and having a good amount of water was a god send with a fairly late arrival. Check in and check out was a breeze. We’ll see you next year!

Cons: Nothing at all. Genuinely couldn’t fault it.

Pros: Everything was great: location, house, garden, landlord. This place has all possible amenities. We highly recommend it for a holiday with children, our son had so much fun in there. Highly, highly, highly recommended!

Perfect holiday home for our little family

Pros: Elia’s House is such a lovely, warm, quirky place, we felt like home from the first moment on! The house is very authentic and has everything you need and so many details to discover. Traveling with two small kids it was the perfect choice for us. Our kids loved the playground with so many toys, we picked strawberries, oranges, cucumbers and herbs from the garden every day, had breakfast and dinner in the outdoor dining area, chilled in the hammock, enjoyed the view from the rooftop and visited the chapel on the ground. We did a lot of trips to beaches, Chania and Rethymno all within a reach of a max 1h drive and always loved to come back to the house. Thanks a lot for a wonderful stay!

A perfect fortnight in a gorgeous little house!

Pros: A beautiful little house with a lovely garden in a stunning location. It was quiet and secure, and away from the crowds. The lady who owns it is wonderful, and she is happy to share the fruit, veg and herbs growing in the garden. You will need a hire car.

Cons: Only one bathroom, which was Ok as there were only 3 of us. This may be challenging if there are more than that staying. An outside shower made a big difference though.

Pros: Polecam gorąco to miejsce. Świetnie wyposażony apartament jest wszystko czego potrzeba duża lodówka, kuchenne sprzęty pomocne w gotowaniu, pralnia w oddzielnym pomieszczeniu, klimatyzacja, dobrze działający internet i telewizja jeśli ktoś ogląda oraz wygodne łóżka. Wystrój wszystkich pomieszczeń i w około domu bardzo klimatyczny i relaksujący. Zadbany ogród z drzewkami owocowymi plus letnia kuchnia. Na dachu punk widokowy z leżakami i co najważniejsze cisza i spokój który zapewnia między innymi elektryczna brama za którą wynajęty samochód jest bezpieczny. Bardzo dobry kontakt z wynajmującymi. Jedyną niedogodnością może być lokalizacja w przypadku wypoczynku bez samochodu ale jeżeli auto wynajmiemy to żaden problem przynajmniej w naszym wypadku. Jeszcze raz gorąco polecam to miejsce jesteśmy bardzo ale to bardzo zadowoleni z pobytu i obsługi.

Eine traumhafte Unterkunft, in der es für die ganze Familie jeden Tag etwas neues zu entdecken gibt.

Pros: Die Außenanlage der Unterkunft mit Spielplatz, Außenküche, Dachterrasse und Garten (Erdbeeren, Paprika, Tomaten, zahlreiche Kräuter, Gurken, Orangen...) ist wirklich traumhaft und sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Wir konnten jeden Tag Orangen pflücken und literweise frischen Orangensaft pressen. Auch an viele kleine, aber nützliche Details wird hier gedacht, bspw. Erste Hilfe-Material im Bad, HDMI-Stecker am TV zum Anschluss eigener Geräte sowie zahlreiche nützliche Geräte und Küchenutensilien. Sehr positiv überrascht waren wir auch vom gefüllten Kühlschrank bei unserer Anreise. Obwohl wir erst spät abends angekommen sind, konnten wir so noch ein Sandwich zubereiten. Die Ein- und Ausfahrt auf das Gelände war zunächst gewöhnungsbedürftig, wenn man sich aber daran gewöhnt hatte, stellt es kein Problem dar.

Cons: Für die Feuerstelle gab es leider kein klassisches Grillrost, sondern lediglich eine Art Fischzange, die man dann wohl ins Feuer halten muss. Die Lichtfarbe der Beleuchtung generell, insbesondere aber im Außenbereich ist neutralweiß. Warmweißes Licht würde hier für ein angenehmeres Ambiente sorgen, insbesondere wenn man am Abend noch ein bisschen draußen sitzen möchte. Der in anderen Bewertungen erwähnte Straßenlärm ist zwar vorhanden und zum Teil etwas laut, aber bei den vielen positiven Erinnerungen und Erfahrungen mit dieser Unterkunft vergisst man das ganz schnell :)
