Pros: We really liked the host, Mr Manos was super helpful, generous and friendly, a true Cretan host! He welcomed us in person and was very kind to show us the house and give us recommendations. The house is spacious and perfect to accommodate a couple and even for a third person. The kitchen is particularly comfortable, equipped with everything you need. Moreover, the fridge had some groceries we could use. The best part of the house is the beautiful terrace, from which you can see the sea, vineyards surrounding the town and mountains. Sunrise is spectacular. It's a spot where you can enjoy a quiet life, and it has a couple of good restaurants within walking distance. The town is also located in a midpoint from which you can easily drive to visit Chania and to beaches like Falassarna or Elafonissi. We used it as a base camp to see the west of the island and really enjoyed it.

Cons: Basically nothing, everything was up to our expectations and even above them

Pros: We had an excellent stay at Mr. Manos' house and can highly recommend it. We stayed there for 10 days with our two children. The house and all amenities are of very high quality and excellently equipped. Mr. Manos is an amazing host and helped us in every regard. It really felt like home and we would love to stay there again in the future.

Cons: Nothing, it was absolutely perfect!

A beautiful village experience

Pros: The host was very generous and had left plenty of food and water. Additionally, they had left us some baked cakes and pastries, made by their grandmother for the panagia (15 Aug). The house had a beautiful view from the terrace and was exceptionally clean all throughout. It was well equipped with all the amenities you need for a short to long stay. There were a couple of nice taverns in the village but also not far from the main highway to get around the rest of Chania. There is a car port available, and driving is recommended if you are staying here.

Cons: It's hard to fault anything at all.

Pros: Die Unterkunft bietet alles, was man sich wünschen kann. Angefangen mit der großen Terrasse mit Liegestühlen, Esstisch, Grill und einem fantastischen Ausblick auf Meer und Berge. Der Sonnenaufgang ist ein grandioses Schauspiel von der Terrasse aus. Weiter geht es mit der großzügigen Wohnung, in der wirklich an alles gedacht ist, überall findet man liebevolle Kleinigkeiten, die Freude machen. Der Kühlschrank war prall gefüllt mit Obst, Brot, Aufschnitt, Marmelade und Getränken aller Art. Sogar ein frisch gebackener Kuchen stand bereit. Manos hat uns unglaublich nett empfangen und verabschiedet. Schade, dass wir nur drei Tage dort waren.

Cons: Da gibt es nichts.

Appartamento eccellente!

Pros: La casa è molto grande e spaziosa, nuova e pulitissima Ha un grande terrazzo da cui godere una vista sulle colline e sullo sfondo il mare. È un pó fuori, non è sul mare, ma si può godere di tranquillità e pace. I proprietari sono persone fantastiche, super gentili e ospitali. Ci hanno fatto trovare generi alimentari, generi di prima necessità e anche un dolce fatto da loro per noi. Ci hanno portato pomodori e cetrioli del loro orto e regalato alla partenza una bottiglia del loro olio. Esperienza più che positiva.

Pros: Abbiamo ricevuto un'ottima ospitalità, con tanto di frigo pieno e una buonissima torta appena fatta. Il terrazzo con barbecue è il valore aggiunto di questa bellissima casa. Spazi grandi e pulizia perfetta.

Un séjour parfait et un accueil hors du colmmun

Pros: Nous avons été accueilli par les très sympathiques propriétaires. Ils nous avaient préparés un gâteau pour le petit déjeuner. Le frigo était approvisionné en eau, fromage, beurre, raki et ils nous avaient amené des produits de leur jardin, tomates cerise, raisin. Franchement je crois qu'en plus de 40 ans de location, nous n'avons jamais été aussi bien accueilli La location est parfaite et très bien équipée. Elle est situé dans un petit village à l'écart mais à quelques kilomètres des plages. La communication a été très facile et leurs conseils pour visiter Chania très précieux.

Relax rigenerante e vista mozzafiato

Pros: L'eccezionale ospitalità dei proprietari, gentilissimi e premurosi, che ci hanno coccolato per tutta la durata del nostro soggiorno con deliziosi dolci fatti in casa e freschissima frutta e verdura del loro orto. La particolare struttura della casa che conserva gli elementi architettonici delle antiche case di campagna con tanti bellissimi oggetti di antiquariato. L'estrema pulizia della casa e di tutta la biancheria in dotazione. La cucina con tanti elettrodomestici e tanti prodotti a disposizione. La comodità dei materassi, alti e soffici, che favoriscono un riposo completo e rigenerante. Un meraviglioso terrazzo con una spettacolare vista sul mare e sulle montagne circostanti. Il barbecue professionale presente sul terrazzo che ci ha consentito di fare fantastiche grigliate. La centralita della struttura vicina sia a Chania che alle spiagge di Balos, Elafonissi e Falasarna. La suggestiva atmosfera rilassata e rilassante del villaggio di Spilia.
