Tholos Cottage

Pros: Tholos Cottage exceeded our expectations. Very well presented and extremely clean. Loads of sitting areas outside, which was great to chase either the sun or shade. The home worked very well with our group of 5 adults with the self contained studio room also.

Cons: Very hard to find something we did not like about Tholos Cottage. We knew before booking we would hire a car, so being 20 minutes away from Chania did not worry us one bit. Without a car , this may be a challenge - although the village here is absolutely gorgeous and has the basics.

Pros: This is an incredivly well renovated cottage, with tick walls making it naturally cool during the hot days of summer. Spacious, with all necessary ameneties, offering no less than 3 terraces and one inner yard, fully equipped with air conditioning if you need the extra cooling. We travelled as 4 adults and one toddler and we found everything to be perfect. Nikos taverna is in walking distance. There are also supermarkets in the area, within 5 minutes drive or 15 minutes for more choices. We drove daily to one of the most beautiful beaches on the Chania area, Marathi.

Cons: Everything was perfect

This place was even better than the pictures. The host was very helpful and responsive.

Pros: The property was full of good surprises. 3 rooftop terraces, very quiet at night, lots of well taken care of and beautifully decorated space. Minutes to the beach.

Cons: No complaints.

Pros: Location has everything you need including facilities and parking. Very clean and the front patio is really nice. The bedrooms are spacious and the mattresses comfortable. Good communication with the owner.

Lovely cottage close to Chania, Monasteries road and some nice beaches

Pros: Tholos Cottage is an old village house that has been recently refurbished and decorated with elegance. All equipments are brand new and you will find all what you need. Good to know : The beds are exceptionally good ! Anna is a wonderful host, so nice and discrete at the same time.

Cons: The village is globally quiet. Just note that there is the school a few streets away. The airport is 10min drive so there is usually one or 2 hours a day (late evening) when you hear the planes but that’s ok. These points are not damaging your experience.

Pros: Such a lovely place, beautiful yard, atmosphere and perfect for relaxation.

Great experience only real complaint was the wifi

Pros: Nice facilities plenty of space and many nice hangout spots in the sun or shade

Cons: The wifi was down for half a week. A technician fixed it at the end but the wifi still was only covering half the house. They say it's 3 bedrooms but it's rather 2 where one is large with lots of beds.

Perfect

Pros: The place is awesome and near to very beautiful beaches. Hosts were kind and attentive.

Pros: Erittäin siisti ja hyvin varusteltu yksilöllinen kohde lähellä ihania pieniä rantoja. Auto on välttämätön tällä alueella, mutta se oli meille itsestään selvää. Suosittelen lämpimästi, kohde sopii aikuisille mielestäni parhaiten.
