A perfect tranquil residence in central Chania

Spacious and clean room right next to the old town

Pros: Clean room just next to the old town of Chania. The room was spacious, air-conditioned and soundproof. Eventhough it is located on a main street, when you close the window you cannot hear any noise. There was a sofa and a small frodge in the room. The baclony was small with a table and chairs. Bathroom amenities were provided.

Cons: The bathroom needed a more thorough cleaning. There was no cleaning service on Sunday. The reception was in another building and it always seemed closed.

Pros: Comfortable apartment in an amazing location at the city center. We really enjoyed the neighborhood around and the old town was a short walk away. The apartment was clean, the bathroom was spacious and the bed was comfortable.

Cons: We did not have a balcony in our room which is the only thing we missed.

Pros: Great place in Chania – perfect location, very clean, decorated with good taste, quiet, and comfortable. The blackout curtains were excellent, the balcony was a big plus, and the owners were very kind and helpful. I highly recommend this apartment if you want to stay close to the very center of Chania.

Cons: I feel a bit sorry to write this, as I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I would like to share a few suggestions for the owners. There was very little storage space for clothes (the lack of a proper wardrobe was a bit of a downside for me). The shower also caused some concern, as water splashed everywhere because the shower screen was a little too short. The main issue for me was the refrigerator. It stopped working whenever we left the room, which was problematic because I needed to store my medicine at a safe temperature. To be fair, the owners tried very hard to help and were honest about the situation, but without my own extension cord, the fridge would not have worked at all. The owners were really kind and did their best to solve the problem, but unfortunately it was still a very stressful experience for me.

Everything you need, just a few steps away

Pros: The location is simply perfect! Within just a few minutes’ walk, you can reach both the bus station and the charming old town, with everything you might need nearby, supermarkets, cafés, restaurants. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and had a wonderfully comfortable mattress that gave us a truly restful sleep.Perhaps in the future, a shower screen could be added to prevent water from splashing out, but this is just a very small detail compared to the overall amazing experience. We were completely satisfied with the hospitality!

Pros: Perfect central location at an affordable price and the rooms are finished to a high standard with soft and comfy beds and a balcony in the room we stayed in, staff are lovely and helpful
