This is the place to stay on Crete.

Pros: We stayed at Elpida and Domenica. Both houses are absolutely fantastic and we had a great time there. The location is perfect because in walking distance there are two great tavernas, and if you have a car many more within a 6/7 minute drive. The Falassarna beach was very nice, too. This house has everything that you might wish for. Our host George went above and beyond to make sure that we have everything we need. There is supermarket in the nearby village (Platanos), so grocery ordering (ask George) and shopping was as easy as it could be.

Pros: The owner, Georges, is super friendly, and was always available if needed. He gave us good addresses and even arranged for taxi once. The place is spotless, very well equiped with brand new equipments and furnitures.

Beautiful villa in a special place!

Pros: George is super accommodating. There was a little construction going on when we stayed, but he made sure that it didn't bother us. The place was brand new and very beautiful. The location is great, with a breathtaking view over Falasarna beach. It's really easy to get to and plenty of restaurants around. George is always there if you need him and provides some great tips!

Cons: I wasn't happy that I was not told by the rental agency that there was some construction work happening next door - but this has nothing to do with the villa or George. The construction is over now and George went out of his way to make sure the construction was not an issue when we were there.

Moderne und große Villa in Top Lage

Pros: Super modernes und toll ausgestattetes Haus. Tolle Lage. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Betten waren super. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet. Der Pool und die Außenanlagen lassen keine Wünsche offen. George der Besitzer hat uns Tipps gegeben und war ein toller Gastgeber.

Cons: Die Bäder der Schlafzimmer im 1. OG sind recht klein, aber dafür ist das Haus groß und bietet jeglichen Komfort (und jede Menge Zimmer). Daher kein Punktabzug.
