Adam Villas

Worth every penny!!

Pros: This was one of our best stays yet. Everything about Adam Villas is top notch. The house is beatiful with a traditional decor, squeaky clean, spacious, and well equipped with everything you may possibly need. The pool and the views are simply stunning, we couldn't get enough of it. Looks exactly like in the pictures, if not better. To top that up, Dimos was such an amazing and kind host, he thought of everything! Very responsive, welcomed us with milk, fruit, wine and home-made cake (which was utterly delicious, btw). It was very generous. The village of Platanos is also great, exactly what we needed. So peaceful and close to Falassarna beach, with wonderful taverns with traditional Cretan cuisine literally on your doorstep. Everyone around is so friendly and kind, and you get a chance to see how people live here, rather than falling into a tourist trap - stay away from the resorts, Adam Villas are such a better experience!

Pros: This is the perfect location, near fabulous beaches yet still in a peaceful Greek village, within walking distance of shops and tavernas.

Cons: No complaints.

Perfect!

Pros: Ideal location, just a 5-6-minute drive from Falasarna. There’s a taverna 100 metres away, and a supermarket approx. 300-400 m from the property. The village also has bakeries. Kissamos is around a 15-minute drive.The house offers every comfort and is built in traditional Cretan style, using stone and wood. It features solid furnishings, a spacious kitchen, and a large veranda with views of the sea and olive groves. There’s a swimming pool to enjoy if you’re not in the mood for the beach. Dimos is the perfect host—extremely kind and accommodating. We had no trouble leaving the house in the afternoon due to our late flight, and he didn’t even ask for extra payment. We had a truly perfect holiday. Dimos, thank you so much for your hospitality and thoughtful care!

Cons: We have no complaints whatsoever—it was a perfect holiday!

We spent a relaxing week and enjoyed a lot our stay

Pros: Spacious and well furnished house, with a private pool and a patio in a wide country environment, close to the beaches of Falasarna

Cons: Perhaps an umbrella and a couple of folding sunbeds could be useful for guests sull’inglese to explore the beaches of the region

Amazing Stay

Pros: The location was perfect, with great views, very quiet with restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance, Dimos was the perfect host, on hand if required, kind, attentive, and a perfect gentleman. Villa has everything you need for your stay, including air conditioning, which is vital for your comfort at night. Would highly recommend this property.

Cons: nothing to complain about, just a lovely, relaxing 2 week holiday.

Relaxing family holiday in a perfect location

Pros: Spacious, clean property with lovely outside space (pool, patio area and large terrace). Great views of the hillside and sea. Really good location to explore nearby towns and beaches, including Falassarna and Balos. Restaurants and shops in walking distance. Our host Dimos was great, and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay

Paradise in Platanos

Pros: Absolutely lovely villa. Very clean. Perfect Location, close to tavernas, supermarket and a bakery, and 8 minute drive to Falassarna beach (best beach in Crete). Dimos the host was excellent, he even bought us homemade cakes which were delicious. He also runs his own Gyros shop which is down the road, which we highly recommended. Overall 10/10 and we will be returning.

A peaceful place close to all amenities.

Pros: This property was excellent. It is on the edge of a small village and is peacefully quiet yet it is near wonderful beaches (a 10 minute drive away), restaurants (a taverna a 5 minute walk and an excellent Mediterranean restaurant just 10 minutes away). There is a small shop very close and a larger supermarket within a 10 minute walk. And to emphasise, it is quiet.

Cons: Just one small problem - beautiful stone steps lead down from the bedrooms to the lounge, which has a stone floor. If anyone was to trip on the stairs, the result would be serious as there is no bannister to grab hold of. This is an issue for someone of my age and any young child. This worried me and it’s a shame for in all other respects, this property is perfect.

Great Villa, very enjoyable stay

Pros: Clean, well equipped, nice pool. Convenient location for taverna, supermarket and pharmacy. Host was very friendly and provided milk, water, orange juice and coffee pods on arrival - very thoughtful and appreciated.

Cons: Shower curtains in the bathrooms would be helpful to stop the floor getting wet and soaking the bath mat

Lovely villa and location ( if you have a car). Really peaceful and everyhting you could need there.

Pros: Lovely quiet location with great mountain view . Pool ared ( rectangle pool) not overlooked.
