Pros: Fabulous little place. Christa was extremely nice and we thoroughly enjoyed the village of Gavalochori which we walked to for supper most nights.

Cons: Unfortunately the loo didn't work properly but I’m sure it will soon be fixed.

Awesome place to get out of the hustle and bustle!

Pros: Beautiful property with only the 3 rooms/units. Pool area is awesome. Facilities were great. Breakfast was lovely.

Cons: Location is great, about a 15 minute walk from the nearest village. It takes a bit longer if you want to drive to a beach or to a bigger town.

Cozy village stay

Pros: Friendly staff that made our stay feel like home. The ladies made our stay super comfortable. The place was quiet and well decorated keeping its traditional character. It used to be an old olive mill. The village close by has a lot of great choices for home cooked food and wandering the beautiful tiny streets.

It is an experience.

Pros: There are places you go because you want to rest and sleep. There are few places that can inspire you and where you want to spend more time. This is such a place. The arrangement, the serenity, the decoration, the architecture, and the garden, work all smoothly and you just somehow dive in, you are transported. It is a strange feeling, and I am sure it will not work for everyone, but somehow we were enchanted.

Very quickly felt like a home away from home

Pros: We stayed at Villa Athermigo for our first 4 nights on Crete (after flying into Chania) and couldn‘t have been happier with our choice. Set in an old olive mill, the place feels very calm and private (only 3 rooms, beautiful garden and pool) and yet manages to create a nice sense of community. The staff was great — special shoutout to Chrisa who served breakfast every morning with a vibrant energy, smiles and good tips for the surroundings.
