Kalathas Sunset Villa

Pros: The location is amazing with an incredible view over Kalathas beach. The house is big with all amenities and facilities a family needs and Spyros and Efi are very warm and hospitable hosts.

Cons: I do not think that there is any disadvantage

Pros: We loved everything. The location is perfect, just above a lovely sandy beach with its own island. The huge private terrace is surrounded by flowers and has a breathtaking westerly view. The apartment is clean, well kept and very spacious. There is lots to do in the area and Chania is full of friendly bars, excellent restaurants and interesting shops.

Entspannung pur

Pros: Wir wurden sehr herzlich von den Gastgebern Efi und Spyros begrüßt und es wurde uns alles gezeigt und erklärt. Der Kühlschrank war mit Getränken, Obst und allem was man für ein erstes Frühstück benötigt ausgestattet. Auch sonst war alles da. Die Küche war hervorragend ausgestattet, sogar Kaffee stand für uns zur Verfügung. Die Bäder waren ebenfalls mit allem ausgestattet. Die Schlafzimmer großzügig mit hervorragenden Betten und Kissen. Alle Zimmer waren mit Schnakengittern versehen, so dass entspannter Schlaf möglich war. Von der riesen Terrasse hat man einen herrlichen Blick. Der Strand ist schön und zu Fuß in 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Unsere Gastgeber waren bei Fragen immer erreichbar und haben uns viele gute Tipps für Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gegeben. Wir haben uns extrem wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Danke Efi und Spyros.

Cons: Selbst die Flugzeuge, die von Chania Airport starten haben uns nicht gestört.

One of the best places and nicest host we’ve experienced!

Pros: We loved everything about Kalathas Sunset Villa. The owners, Efi and Spiro (and cat Lucy), are the best host. They waited for our late arrival (after midnight), had snacks and water waiting for us, and were very helpful in suggesting places to see and places to eat. They were very friendly and patient. The villa is beautiful inside and out. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make a great meal. There’s even a grill that we used to bbq. The beds were comfortable and beautifully decorated. The bathrooms were spotless and also fully stocked! The view is worth a million bucks. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets while relaxing in the huge outdoor patio complete with lounge chairs. We didn’t want to leave but hopefully will go back someday! Thank you Efi and Spiro for your hospitality!!!

Efi and Spyros were perfect hosts that made us feel at home. Very attentive and helpful.

This villa is wonderful

Pros: I can't begin to tell you everything we LOVED! The villa was a dream from start to finish. Efi and Spiros's welcome was very warm. They explained everything about the property to ensure our visit was wonderful. The outdoor seating was so comfortable and large with a door off each of the three comfortable bedrooms. There are loungers, chairs and tables in various seating and dining arraignments. The living/dining room is very large and comfortable. The kitchen has EVERYTHING you could imagine for preparing wonderful meals. In additions, our hosts spoiled us with a fridge full of delicious treats. Their genuine hospitality exceeded all expectations. By far this was our favourite accommodation over our three weeks in Crete and we had many lovely stays across the island. If you have the opportunity to enjoy this property, jump at it!

Cons: The only thing I would say is the driveway is very challenging but on arrival, Spiros was waiting at the bottom and guided us up.
