Pros: Beautiful villa overlooking the sea & mountains. Beds very comfortable & cozy living area. Great location. Pool perfect. Hosts very warm, welcoming, helpful & always close by if you need anything. Gifts of delicious homemade cake & olive oil from hosts during our stay. Overall lovely villa & great for family.

Cons: There is no direct access to the pool from inside. You have to go out the front door and around the back of the property. Smell of sewage at times from upstairs bathrooms.

A top class villa!

Pros: An absolutely stunning villa, everything was of the highest quality. Everything had so much thought put into it. The beds, pillows, linen were of excellent quality, so comfortable. Furniture and decor was excellent, inside and out. Clean, well maintained house and beautiful outside areas. Barbecue ready and clean for use. Everything was tidy and spotless. So many extras such as mosquito plug ins in each room, laundry liquids, if you needed something it was there. Alex and Manos were wonderful hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Manos came with flowers, fresh eggs, cake, biscuits, the list goes on. They were both easily contactable if you needed anything. Can’t praise it high enough! A true gem 💎.

Cons: Absolutely nothing!!

A wonderful stay, lots to do in the areas of Almyrida and Kalyves, the owners were wonderful too.

Pros: Lovely pool area, fantastic views from all the balconies.

Cons: We would have liked a little more kitchen equipment, such as smaller saucepans and a few more glasses.

Great comfortable stay in a beautiful villa

Pros: Everything it was spotless with the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in great quality bedding. The bathrooms were well fitted and we had a bath with a shower lots of space to put our own things. The kitchen was well stocked with all you could need and had a comfortable sofa. Lots of very clean outdoor spaces and a lovely pool with sun beds and parasols. Secure gates and parking as we had a car but could walk to the beach/restaurants in 20 minutes. A treat for anyone staying here as great villa with lovely sea views and surrounded by gardens.

Cons: Nothing not to like

Amazing villa and super helpful hosts

Pros: The villa was absolutely lovely and very well equipped. The location is about a 5 min drive from Kalyves and so is nice and private but still convenient. Alex met us to give us the keys and a tour and was incredibly helpful, he gave us recommendations and contacts and even helped us book a taxi. I would definitely stay again!

Cons: If you don’t have a car it’s a bit far to walk into town.

Lovely stay at a lovely villa!

Pros: Lovely villa in an incredibly picturesque and quiet location. Everything well maintained and provided for - particularly happy with the outdoor area with pool, sunbeds, barbecue; as well as the plethora of balconies to choose from (6!) each with their own stunning views! Approx 30 min walk from nearest towns, Kalyves and Almyrida, in each direction and 30-40 min drive from Chania - so quite isolated, which was nice, but would strongly recommend having a hire car. Only 10 min walk from nearest beach, which is very quiet and has crystal clear water.

Pros: Hospitality of the host was exceptional. Alex was waiting for us and we had a lovely basket of fresh fruits, some Cretan “eau de vie”, olives and wine and the next day, the lovely owner brought us a lovely cake... everything was thoroughly amazing. The location was charming with Kalyves a very nice, small, typical village with lovely beaches nearby. Everything was perfect and would be perfect for any families. The house had everything you wish for. It was also very quiet and walking distance from a beautiful little stone beach. There is nothing we could have wished which was not already available. BBQ every night by the pool or on the balcony or out to local restaurants. The welcome we received everywhere we went was also very refreshing. Alex gave us some excellent recommendations for visits, beaches and restaurants and the ones we tried were spot on. Bliss! Go there and enjoy!

Happy and memorable

Pros: What a lovely and peaceful villa which suited our family wonderfully. We loved the little gifts our hosts brought us during our stay and the great location to explore beautiful Crete.

Cons: You do need a car even though it’s not a long drive to a nice beach or restaurant. We knew this so planned for it but it’s good to know.

The perfect Greek summer holiday!

Pros: Fantastic family villa. Even though it’s a sharp turn off a fast road, once inside the property its private electric gates lead you to a safe haven where the large villa and pool transport you to somewhere very special. A few minute’s drives takes you to almerida sea front with pretty little bars and seaside restaurants. We loved everything about it and our hosts were exceptionally generous and warm. They have some great recommendations and are very attentive. We’ll be back!

Cons: Nothing!

Great villa to stay with the family! You really feel at home, you have everything you need, you always feel being taken

Pros: Everything was well thought of by the host, you never needed to worry about anything. The villa itself has a great view, a good private pool and is very clean.
