Luxurious retreat with stunning view

Pros: Stunning property, beautifully furnished, luxury feel and lots of thoughtful additions (like a yoga mat and scented candles!). You can walk to 2-3 tavernas in 5 mins or into Kalyves in more like 15-20. One of the nicest places we’ve stayed. We’d happily return.

Cons: Curtains are for looks not function and so don’t properly shut out light - so if you need total darkness to sleep I’d suggest eye masks. Whilst there is gorgeous lounging furniture outside, there’s no table for eating outside.

Excellent stay with my wife

Pros: My wife and I had a lovely stay at this villa. The house is new, clean, and well-equipped — we especially appreciated the excellent air conditioning. One of our favorite features was the big glass walls, which gave us an amazing view of the outside even when we were indoors. The outdoor area is fantastic — sitting by the pool with a view of both the sea and the mountains was incredibly relaxing. It’s a peaceful and quiet spot, but still close enough to plenty of cafes and restaurants. The location worked really well for us. We were able to explore Chania, a beautiful beach on the west side of the island, and the ancient ruins of Aptera — all within an hour’s drive. All in all, a great base for both relaxing and exploring!
