Pros: The location is incredible! Right on top of the mountain with an incredible view. Such warm and friendly hosts - they filled our fridge with foods we might need and also left raki, Turkish delight, fruit - it was so thoughtful and welcoming. The pool is fabulous and the outdoor veranda, and the sunbed area are incredibly relaxing and beautiful.

Cons: That we couldn’t stay for the full time we had booked. Sadly there was a massive wildfire and we had to be evacuated as the water and electricity went down. It was so sad.

A unique view in a peaceful, beautiful setting

Pros: One of the best views in Crete, within a 24-minute drive from lovely sea villages Palaiochora and Sougia. The owners are lovely and ensured a most welcoming stay. The nearby family taverna is a hidden gem.

Absolutely perfect holiday!

Pros: Our stay was outstanding from start to finish. The communication was excellent and the hosts were so accommodating when it came to arrival times ( we arrived well after 9pm). Katerina and George have thought of everything in this villa and we had everything we needed for a really relaxing stay. The location is out of this world and the views are amazing! The additional treats that Katerina had prepared were so thoughtful and absolutely delicious. There is nothing around and it is so quiet. Paleochora and Sougia are a quick 20 min drive if you need supplies or dinner etc. We would go back in a heartbeat!

This mountain retreat, with stunning views, was the perfect escape from London.

Pros: The location is absolutely breathtaking! Nestled in the heart of the mountains, the house offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Coming from London city life, this was the perfect holiday destination for us. We were surrounded by majestic mountains and goats, with the added luxury of a small, private pool. The hosts were incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome. They recommended a local taverna just a five-minute drive away, where we enjoyed the best Greek food imaginable. We loved it so much that we dined there every day of our stay. I couldn't recommend this property enough.

Cons: You definitely need a car! Even the local supermarket is a 20 min drive.

Pros: Brilliant view, perfect fit for a family of 4 (parents with 2 kids), everything in that accomodation was simply perfect for us. The owners were lovely as well. Great accomodation!

Pros: Unglaubliche Lage hoch in den Bergen mit spektakulärem Blick aufs Meer. Ruhe und Entspannung pur. Die Vermieter sind toll!

Cons: Im Herbst war es durch die hohe Lage etwas kühler als an der Küste. Im Sommer ist das sicher ein Vorteil!

Un séjour bénéfique par son calme

Pros: Georgios et Katerina sont des hôtes exceptionnels. Ils sont très attentionnés et nous ont laissé des fruits, légumes, pain, yaourts, féta, eau, café, raki, liqueur d'abricot fabriqué par Katerina etc... en abondance. Le site est exceptionnel car il domine toute la vallée vers Palaiochora. Les incendies qui ont eu lieu fin juillet-début août ont épargné leur maison et la vue magnifique n'a pas souffert. Du fait de l'altitude (780 mètres), le soleil se couche tard et le lieu bénéficie d'une luminosité incomparable.

Pros: Tout absolument tout !!! déjà merci à nos hôtes qui sont d'une gentillesse et générosité incroyable, il y a vraiment tout l'équipement nécessaire et la propreté de l'appartement impeccable. l'emplacement est tellement reposant et la vue incroyablement magnifique vraiment je recommande mille fois ce logement nous avons eu un coup de cœur. Nous reviendrons un jour je l'espère. Allez y les yeux fermé 👌

The best view in Crete on ancient town of Paleochora

Pros: -Amazing view and location -amazing owners, they really take care of this place and surprised us with lots of goods left for us at the beginning of our stay -isolated location

Cons: Personally we loved it. For future bookers - don’t be surprised how far is to go to any shop and temperature up the mountain will be always couple of degrees lower

Pros: Na wstępie serdeczne podziękowania dla gospodarzy! Mieliśmy już super kontakt na długo przed przyjazdem. W dniu przyjazdu czekali na nas na miejscu, przekazali klucze i wskazówki odnośnie domu. Mało tego! Przygotowali dla nas lodówkę z jedzeniem ,mnóstwo owoców. Prawdziwa kreteńska gościnność! Sam obiekt po prostu wspaniały!Przestronny z małym basenem. Położony w ciszy na wzgórzu z widokiem na morze libijskie i Paleochorę. Wyposażony we wszystko co masz we własnym domu. Niczego nam nie brakowało. Cudowny pobyt!
