Cute little hotel in the heart of Sfakia

Pros: Beautiful view of Sfakia Harbour, seen from your bed. A very comfortable room kept extremely well cleaned. Gorgeous private courtyard that was lovingly decorated and maintained... an oasis in Sfakia! But most important was the amazing hosts who reminded us of the classic Cretan hospitality and charm. From little touches to simply greeting us everyday with a genuine smile. Please do not hesitate to stay here as we will happily return one day ourselves ❤️

Pros: Simple but comfortable and very clean. perfect situation right at the heart of the village. Yannis was a wonderful host.

Pros: The garden was absolutely delightful, such a bonus. And I really didn't want to get up in the morning because the bed was sooooo comfy. We were made to feel super welcome, Giannis was really helpful and kind.

Pros: Sophia’s Lovely Rooms is in a fantastic location, close to restaurants, a fantastic bakery and well stocked supermarket. Easy walk to beach and harbour. It is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and well maintained.

Cons: There was nothing to dislike.

Pros: Loved staying at Sofias lovely rooms. Our room was beautiful, with a lovely varanda to enjoy our breakfast. The host was very friendly and helpful, making you feel welcome. The snacks, juice, coffee and tea in the room were a very nice touch too. The highlight for me was the magic garden, very peaceful and green. Also, the location is great to catch ferry to other beautiful spots such as Loutro and Glyka Nera beach.

Cons: Liked everything, wished I could have stayed longer.

Peaceful holiday

Pros: Lovely double room, great view out to sea, central location next to a bakery. Only a minute’s walk to lots of tavernas, five minutes walk to Vrissi Beach and only five minutes to the port where you can catch a ferry to other villages, like Loutro. The apartment had a peaceful shady garden too. Excellent cleaning, every day, with a linen change after four days. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Our room was ready on our arrival, which was great since we arrived before 3pm check in time.

Cons: Everything was great!

Pros: Everything, you're made to feel very welcome (like an old friend) the room was spotless, well decorated and a lovely mural over the bed, shower was powerful and roomy, even the toilet roll turned into a bowtie, the bed was very comfortable. Everything was very good and if you're looking something special they have a secret garden, perfect space to chill. Thankyou Giannis & Niki.

Cons: No complaints

Thanks to Janis' hospitality and kindness, we felt like very welcome guests.

Pros: The room was large enough, clean (daily cleaning) and quiet. It was nice that the owner had provided water, juice, coffee and a few other snacks. Very near there was a nice uncrowded beach, as well as plenty of restaurants.

Perfect choice for a romantic trip

Pros: We enjoyed a picturesque view from the gigantic terrace, traditional handicrafts on the walls, comfortable mattresses and bed cloths.

Cons: Despite a careful maintenance, some of the things need to be repaired or replaced by new equipment (WC brush, shower faucet)

Beautiful place

Pros: It's one of the most beautiful places we've stayed at. Great location close to the centre. There was a small beach just over the hill with sunbeds. The rooms are a good size and very clean. The rooms were clean everyday. The hosts were excellent. I would recommend it 👌.

Cons: There was nothing not to like.
