Minos Country Living Apartments

Pros: The apartment was pretty cosy, and pretty comfortable. The best selling point for the property is definitely the view and the atmosphere. It's so easy, on the other side of the street, a great restaurant with wonderful options. Even off season it was pretty accommodating. And to my suprise - I've had my best baklava that I've ever had

Cons: Not much to be fair. I feel like it was incredibly comfortable for all we needed.

Crete Mountain bliss!

Pros: Stunning location in the mountains. The Old Petrol station restaurant did great authentic food, frequented by all the locals around it would seem! 20 min easy access to Sougia as a place to leave a car to do the Samaria gorge trek and also nice beach.

Stunning Mountain Retreat, Perfect for Relaxation

Pros: Comfortable, clean room. The pool and surrounding area are well maintained and cosy. Stunning mountain views, and the restaurant opposite is very convenient for homely meals.

Cons: The pool cleaning robot couldn’t remove the floating bugs from the surface.

Pros: We are in love! Perfect location between the mountains, good food at the old petrol station in front of the appartments (kitchen open till 23:00 , bar open until 01:00) very good breakfast as well! Very kind, polite and welkoming staff! You can park on the right side of the old petrol station, 1 minute walk (just crossing the road) from the appartament

Rather characterless luxury

Pros: Luxury place with all the good stuff: power shower, fluffy towels, comfy beds

Cons: The lights in the living room were way too bright. Zero atmosphere. More suitable for a hospital

We loved our stay at Minos and were very comfortable and well looked after.

Pros: The property location was excellent for our planned activities. We wanted to visit Sougia beach, visit Palaiochora and hike in the Irini Gorge (fabulous), all reachable from the property. The property has a lovely charm and the staff were extremely friendly.

Cons: The only comment that I can make is that the pool was a little cool for our liking. However, to be honest we only used it on the first day as we had day activities planned all the other days and got back to late to use the pool.

Pros: High quality furnishings, outstanding views and very friendly people

Pros: Very nice place, with great breakfast at the restaurant across the street.

Cons: There was a bit of smell coming from the bathroom drains, the A/C makes a lot of noise and although the room is very large, it lacks a table inside. Also, the bed was not comfortable because there were two single beds stuck together instead of a double bed.

Pros: The apartment and the surrounding area was very nice, clean and quiet. 10 stars.

Cons: We found the staff to be lacking severely regarding service. There was a serious fire 100 meters from the hote and the staff did not reach out to us or keep us posted about developments in the fire. They also forgot room cleaning, but i guess thats understandable. I found the staff to be in general not serviceminded, but everything else was fine. The distance to the Samaria Gorge is about 45 minutes by car.
