Perfect location and friendly host
Pros: Very comfy bed and everything we needed for our stay. Quiet area but close to the sea and within walking distance of the old town. It felt very safe as all the doors locked. The air con was great. There were mini markets and a bakery nearby. Maria was very welcoming and friendly every time we saw her and left us treats which was lovely.
Cons: The balcony overlooked buildings so no view. There was no make up or full length mirror in the bedroom. It was a bit small for a two week stay but perfect for shorter stays. It was up two flights of stairs but not too bad. There was no safe in the room.

Pros: Great location - only a 20 minute walk to Old Town.
Cons: Property details prior to booking says on-site parking available, however once booked it said that parking is request only and it was currently unavailable. Think this was more of an issue with booking.com than host. Everything else was great.

Excellent location and value for a friendly stay
Pros: Great location five minute walk to restaurants and waterfront. Super communication with the host who was friendly and accommodating at all times. Thoughtful welcome gifts that were appreciated. Comfortable room with great air con and all facilities needed.
Cons: Shower area is relatively small which would be fine if the shower curtain didn’t keep blowing on top of you whilst talking a shower.

Pros: Nicely decorated studio, so many facilities(washing machine, coffee maker, sandwichmaker, kitchenette, etc.), cute balcony, Very close to the old town of Chania. The owner is the best, she picked us up from the bus station and took us to the stay. Her thoughtfulness is unlimited, she even made some marks with a textmarker on the washing machine to be used easily, a list of the good restaurants from the area, some maps, schedule of the buses, put water in the fridge, and more and more. I recommend it very much!

Pros: The property is located near old town centre and town centre is in walking distance. Apartment was clean, there is washing machine available. Bed was comfortable, there is enough space to store your clothes, WFI works good.
Cons: Bathroom is very small, kitchen is poorly equipped. In nearby the apartment dogs were noisy during the night and specially in early morning. Apartment (booking.com) advertising this property as property with free parking which was not available during our stay. Be careful with reservation if you need parking.

Great stay
Pros: The host was very helpful, even picked us up from the bus stop, ( which we did not expect), she gave us snacks to eat and juice to drink on arrival. We were walking distance to beach, restaurants and buses. Recommend Maria’s Studios, would be happy to stay again.

A fantastic place to base yourself in Chania
Pros: Great little apartment, perfect for a couple. Good location too, only a 15 minute walk to the centre of town. Overall, a comfortable and nice place to stay. Maria was a great host, very accommodating and helpful with responding to requests.
Cons: Bathroom a tad too tiny. Water didn’t drain well in the shower, so it tended to build up a bit and spill across bathroom.

Pros: The flat is lovely, clean and well decorated. It has everything you need, and is ideally located near a quiter area where you can swim. The walk to the main harbour is very pleasant too. Maria is really helpful, she picked us up from the bus station and was there when we needed her, always ready to help.

Schönes Apartment in sehr guter Lage. Jederzeit gern wieder!
Pros: Super Kontakt und Kommunikation zur Vermieterin. Maria hat uns spontan eine gute Werkstatt für unseren kaputten Reifen empfohlen. Außerdem hat sie uns ein anderes, größeres Apartment angeboten, da die Vormieter „unseres“ eigentlichen Apartment wohl darin geraucht hatten… Das Apartment liegt in einem Mehrfamilienhaus in kurzer Distanz zur Uferpromenade, die Altstadt von Chania ist fußläufig gut erreichbar. Das große Plus für uns: Man konnte dort auch kostenlos parken (muss man aber reservieren).
Cons: Wenn überhaupt: Im Schlafzimmer zur Straßenseite in Apartment 3 hört man bei offenem Fenster doch etwas Straßenlärm, bei geschlossenen Fenster aber kaum. Achtung: Vorm Verlassen des Apartments bei Abreise und zurücklassen des Schlüssels im Apartment prüfen, ob die Haustür auch aufgeschlossen ist. Wir sind da etwas ins schwitzen geraten, weil wir uns auf dem Weg zum Flughafen hinter verschlossener Tür befanden. Aber Maria hat uns nach Anruf schnell „befreit“. 😀

Pros: Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in Marias Studio!! Die Lage ist perfekt, um Chania zu erkunden; ca10 Min fußläufig zum Hafen; die Umgebung sehr angenehm und ruhig. Das Studio ist klein, aber für unseren Zweck völlig ausreichend, sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Extra Pluspunkte für eine Unterkunft in Chania Stadt sind der eigene Parkplatz und die Waschmaschine, die und wichtig waren. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Maria ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und die Kommunikation hat perfekt geklappt. Sie ist extra länger geblieben, um uns persönlich zu begrüßen und hatte sogar ein leckeres Begrüßungspresent für uns 🤗 Vielen Dank Maria und bis zum nächsten Mal 🙏🏼
