Emmanouil’s House

A charming period property in a central location. Excellent overhead shower (seems rare in Crete).

Pros: A charming Art deco era period property. Antique furniture throughout most of the property. Original antique tiled floors in the living/kitchen areas with wooden floors in the bedrooms. Master bedroom with elegant antique furniture (walnut?). Small 2nd bedroom modern with 2 single beds and bedside table - but plenty of wardrobe & shelving space on the landing. Kitchen generally well equipped. Separate dining room with sofa and TV. Also, another room so you can be in separate lounge rooms. Washing machine and 2nd toilet in a room on the large patio. A detailed handbook from the owner, including translating the Greek settings on the washing machine. (local maps in the cupboard). A charming addition was the several pe riod family photographs which was a lovely personal touch. Location very central but quiet enough in the evenings. I highly recommend this lovely property.

Cons: A microwave in the kitchen would have been useful.

Was such great value. I enjoyed my stay there and would definitely book it again if available.

Pros: It has the best location. We were in the middle of everything and the harbour was less than a 2min walk. It was very spacious. Plenty of space to move around and had a nice balcony and rooftop dining area with a view.

Cons: If I had to be really picky I would say the washing machine took a bit too long washing clothes. About 2hrs. But then again maybe I had the setting wrong.

A very good centrally located property that provided an excellent base to explore Chania

Pros: Excellent central location in the Old Town with really good cafes, bars and restaurants all around. plus a few minutes walk to the harbour and short walk of around 15 minutes to the beach. The house was lovely and cool in the hot, sunny weather and had air conditioning, too. A beautifully curated interior and furnishings that gave a lovely sense of the history of the property. Antonis, the property manager, was excellent in meeting us and assisting with our check in/out. He communicated with us before and during our stay.

Cons: The second bedroom was small for a twin room. the large, cool front sitting room could easily be turned into a gorgeous double bedroom as there is plenty of space to sit and relax in the dining room by the kitchen and the upstairs terrace and balconies.

Central historical building, big, beautiful and quite

Pros: Die Unterkunft ist traumhaft, da sehr historisch mit viel vorherigem Leben darin, gute Infrastruktur. Die Terrassen sind phantastisch. Es gibt zwei Toiletten. Die Unterkunft ist super zentral in der Altstadt gelegen in einer vergleichsweise ruhigen Straße ohne laute Bars o.ä. in der Nähe. Der Vermieter ist einem für uns wichtigen Wunsch nachgekommen, obwohl dieser nicht vorgesehen war. Nächster kostenfreier Parkplatz beim East Moat Theater (ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß).

Cons: Die vielen steilen Steintreppen sind für uns machbar gewesen (drei Ebenen, wobei die Küche und das Wohnzimmer auf Ebene 2 liegen, Bad, große Terrasse mit Esstisch und alle Schlafzimmer auf Ebene 3), aber man sollte das mit kleinen Kindern und älteren Personen im Hinterkopf behalten (da keine Kindersicherung z.B.). Leider kein persönlicher Kontakt mit den Vermietern, aber man wurde zu allem wichtigem gebrieft. Keine größeren Haushaltsmülltonnen in der Nähe und so läuft man ein wenig zu lange mit dem vollen Müllsäcken aus der Altstadt heraus.

Pros: Departamento amplio y luminoso. Tiene todo lo que se puede necesitar para una estancia cómoda y larga. Una cocina completísima, y con algunos detalles que suman, como el aceite de oliva y las especias y las cápsulas de café.

Amazing apartments

Pros: We stayed there in August 2024, and I can say that these are the best and most amazing apartments we have ever stayed in. The furniture and decorative elements are beautiful, there are 3 balconies and one large terrace. The apartments are located right in the city center, surrounded by many restaurants and shops. A quiet city beach, with just a few locals, is only 15 minutes away. The apartments have everything needed for a comfortable stay, and the price is very reasonable compared to other options. We are thrilled!

Veldig fornøyd med beliggenhet og stille og rolig område

Pros: Beliggenheten var helt perfekt i gamlebyen. Kort vei til alt!

Pros: Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit einer tollen Ausstattung, die keine Wünsche offen lässt. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit vielen liebevollen Details in vintage Look.
