Basic clean studio in a fabulous location!

Pros: Great location right on the beautiful beach of Frangokastello!

Cons: Made a very specific request for twin rooms upstairs. This was not available despite confirmation a month earlier!

Great value simple rooms in a great location in the spectacular Frangokastello area.

Pros: The location is superb. The room is basic and clean. A nice patio with sea view and an area for drinks closer to the sea.

Cons: We would have liked better cleaning services. Not expecting clean sheets or anything but bin clearing and maybe floor cleaning would gave been nice! A bit more shelf space near the cooking area would also have been nice.

A quiet and relaxing place to spend our holiday.

Pros: Location by the beach, great cafe bar for food and drink with everything we needed in the studio. The staff are friendly and helpful, with good knowledge about the area. A number of good tavernas nearby. Overall excellent

Pros: The place is fantastic - incredibly calm and comfortable. The location could not be better, it's right on the beach and very close to a supermarket and several tavernas. The rooms/studios are very well equipped with everything one might need. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff was super super lovely and friendly and very helpful. We felt very much at home.

A relaxing stay close to the beach!

Pros: The location of Maria's Studios was excellent and very close to the beach. We had a warm welcome, fast assistance when we needed anything and appreciated the great restaurant recommendations made by the staff. We enjoyed our 2nd floor balcony and view of the sea. The room was spacious and comfortable. We also appreciated having a small kitchenette. Overall this was a very relaxing place to stay.

Cons: The room was not that clean when we arrived; floors did not seem to be mopped, some dishes were dirty and the bathroom was not sufficiently stocked with toilet paper.

A place to return again and again

Pros: We have visited many Greek islands and many beaches, but this is the first time we feel that we have found a place where we want to return whenever we need to relax and recharge with sea and sun. At the beginning of June, there were very few tourists, perhaps because you have to cross the mountains to get here. The beach was almost deserted and, in the background, a few hundred meters away, the Venetian castle stands against the mountains. Maria’s Studios is less than 100 meters from a small bay with a sandy beach and clear, calm water. The rooms are large, clean, and equipped with a small kitchen with everything you need for those who wish to cook for themselves. Otherwise, just a short walk away, there is a taverna located right on the seashore with very good food. The owner was very helpful in providing information about the surroundings, but who would want to leave such a beautiful beach?

A wonderfully relaxing place to be - hopefully we’ll be back.

Pros: Light and airy. Really comfortable bed. Great shower! Any problems we had were sorted out immediately.
