Kalithea Apartments - Heated Pool

Perfect stay in these lovely apartments

Pros: As a female solo traveller I was very comfortable in these apartments which are in a perfect location, very close to the beach, a few bars and tavernas and a large supermarket. It’s about a 20 minute walk along the seafront into town which has a nice atmosphere and where there are plenty of beachfront tavernas. Hosts Nikos and Maria are very friendly and helpful and they provide a superb welcome pack. You can see that they put in a lot of effort to provide a good experience for their guests. The lovely heated pool (what a bonus!) and gardens are immaculate with plenty of sunbeds and a great spot to relax. The apartments are typically Greek and are very clean with a very comfy bed and bedding. I would recommend getting a seaview room as the view is lovely. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kalithea apartments and hope to return some day.

We had a really lovely holiday at Kalithea apartments. everything was fabulous!

Pros: I love the location being so close to the beach and a lovely village - Kalyves. Plenty of local restaurants to choose from and the pool is gorgeous to swim in being quite large and heated too. The hosts, Maria and Nikos, are delightful and so charming and friendly, and can suggest interesting places to see, and recommend lovely restaurants in the hills with delicious food. They also produce their own olive oil!

Cons: Nothing.

Perfect.

Pros: Nikkos and Maria are fantastic hosts, the accommodation and experience is really well thought through, from the welcome back in the fridge on arrival, which was superb, to the availability of bottled water on-site, rather than having to carry it from the supermarket. The apartments are well stocked with essentials and I really appreciated the availability of the oils, salt and pepper, washing up provisions and all the things you don’t have to buy and then leave, causing waste and further carbon footprint. They are kind and helpful, whilst also leaving you alone to relax, I’ll definitely be returning. Thank you for a fun and relaxing stay!

The most wonderful holiday

Pros: Nikos and Maria thought of everything, from the ingredients to make a greek salad, to wine and fresh bread. Really great location, super clean, great aircon....cannot fault it. Gorgeous pool, lovely lovely lovely people...would certainly recommend and will definitely go back!

Amazing family run hotel in Kalyves! I will be back

Pros: I am a returning customer and the hotel is amazing! Maria and Nikos treat every guest with warmth and respect and address everyone by name! They are always ready to offer advice… or step aside and let you be, whatever are the guests’ preferences… I cannot fault the place! A lovely sandy beach is just 2 min walk. A well stocked supermarket is within 1 min walk. I will be back!

Cons: Noisy children in the pool, with parents failing to recognise that other guests could really do with a serene child-free environment… but this is hardly the hotel’s fault.

Perfect

Pros: Our stay here was perfect. Nikos and Maria were wonderful hosts and nothing was too much to ask - they clearly take pride in Kalithea Apartments and it shows. The room was very clean and well equipped, the pool was also very clean, a good size and had a lovely atmosphere. The apartments are in a great location to access the centre of Kalyves. We would absolutely recommend this accommodation to anybody, we loved our stay.

Cons: Nothing could have been improved!

Pros: Lovely, well-appointed apartments in beautiful grounds. Gracious hosts. Fantastic welcome pack. Excellent value for money.

Pros: Close to city of Chania and close to the beach as well and the pool is an extra as well. Beaches of the island are about an hour away
