Captain's Beach Apartments

Pros: We had a wonderful time! Excellent breakfast! The ocean view at breakfast is fabulous! Friendly and very helpful staff! It is very well located for reaching the various beaches in the western area. Everything was wonderful! We hope to return!

Relaxing apart-hotel with great views of the Med

Pros: This place is right on a small beach. We liked swimming in the Med although you might need swimming shoes if you have sensitive feet. Or there is the pool. The breakfast was healthy and delicious - fresh fruit and yoghurt and eggs however you like them. There is a great view over the sea in the evening which is perfect for pre-dinner drinks. It was really windy when we stayed at the end of September but the Greek hosts were charming and helpful, giving us tips on more sheltered beaches where the locals go and local restaurants. Our apartment was fine but could probably due with a little updating but we were outside most of the time. It's a great base for walkers too. The port is close by where you can catch a ferry to Balos beach, one of Crete's finest.

Gem of a place

Pros: This is a real gem of a place, on a quiet beach. The staff were all excellent, attentive and helpful

Pros: Staff were amazing. The little extras were nice, like free cold water in the rooms and with meals. The free after meal drinks and grapes were great too 😁 The view from the balcony was lovely.

Cons: You really need a car to get around.

Pros: The apartments were clean and functional. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made a big difference. The location was great, with easy access to local attractions and amenities. Overall, it was a good value for the experience!

Perfect for short stays.

Pros: We only stayed for couple nights and it was perfect for our stay. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Lovely experience with amazing views.

Cons: Bedroom, Kitchen area in the apartments is tiny with small table and couple chairs. We found there was not much space to set our things.

Pros: the accomodation was situated around nowhere - its for these who prefer quit and relax without a big mass od tourist. There is nice garden with trees, restaurant and nice pool. Very good breakfast with coffee from original coffe maker. Nice food in restaurant (we had occtopus) but little small porcion. The windows protection on all windows and nice breeze through flat, full equipped kitchen. Nice employees, you can borrow sunbaths and umbrella on the beach. Quit during the night (no cars, no music just the waves from sea). The Balos beach is close but we could use our car - it was prohibited by car company because of offroad but we visit Falasarna and its beatiful.

Cons: Little old fashion bathroom and kitchen, the closes city is 5km,

Lovely place

Pros: We had a very pleasant stay! The staff is very friendly, the food is tasty and the location is magnificent :) It's a really quiet and beautiful place, perfect to chill and charge your batteries. We're considering coming back next year :)

Cons: Everything was great. Nothing to complain about.

Definitely would come back and i would recommend this calm place who loves nature.

Pros: Fantastic , attentive staff, the best view ever from the breakfast area. Car is needed.

Cons: The only thing i can mention here is that we could hear all the noises from the apartment next to us.
