The ultimate Covi experience like no other
Pros: Casa Arokaria was love at first sight. The apartment has all you need, stylish and heartfelt. Away from all the noise, surrounded by a vast olive and orange tree orchard. A convenient drive to all the nice beaches (in south, north, and west), and hikes. Stars in the clear sky at night. Sunny mornings on the terrace. Slept great through all 5 nights, had breakfast and dinner at small cafes in the nearby village. Covi, the owner, was so caring, helpful, open and fun, while also respectful of boundaries and privacy. You can tell she really loves her business and guests, and we were lucky to have received the ultimate Covi experience.
Cons: Nonstop clicking sound from an electric box (must always stay on) in one of the rooms, but easily fixed by shutting the door to the bedroom at night.

Off the beaten track between Chania (an easy drive) and Paleochora. Perfect spot for touring Chania region, arguably the
Pros: An absolutely amazing experience in a quiet secluded wooded valley surrounded by citrus trees, olives, bourgainvillia and birdsong. Kovi was a wonderful host, bringing up fresh bread, honey, oranges, avocado, and a bottle of delicious local honey raki. Log burner for chilly nights with logs and kindling provided.

We enjoyed the time and recovered well.
Pros: We spent a week in Casa Arokaria and felt very comfortable there. The accomodation is very spacious and well equippt. From the terrace you can look out into the green of orange, lemon and olive plantations ( if you like, you can eat oranges and lemons as much you want) and hear the birds chirping all around - pure nature. The hostess is extremely helpful and gave us a lot informations about restaurants and places of interest. Casa Arokaria is located 40 minutes by car from the airport in Chania and we are happy to recommend it to others.

Pleasant stay with decent value to money ratio!
Pros: Host and her family, that lives in the premise, were very kind! House is not brand new but in good condition with very nice view from the terrace, perfect for breakfast or dinner during sunset :)
Cons: Pictures might be slightly outdated and premise doesn't look exactly the same, but still not bad :)

Pros: The location among orange and olive trees is magical. The kind owner recommended wonderful local restaurants. Thank you for a lovely stay, it was perfect for our famile of 4. We feel that we are taking a real Greek experience home with us.
Cons: We enjoyed everything about the location in the country including the background sounds, but future guests should be aware that the House is located in the nature, and that means background sounds such as birds, roosters, crickets etc.

We could not have asked for more this is a great base for visiting western Crete.
Pros: Location was perfect. Set on a tranquil hillside in citrus groves and olive trees. Peaceful and secluded yet only 10 minutes from the coast. No close neighbours and the only noise is the birds. Beautiful canopied terrace where you can enjoy the views of the valley over the citrus groves. A spacious well equipped and comfortable house. Kovi is an excellent host and is only minutes away should you need any help/advice.

Perfect for a nice getaway
Pros: It's a pretty old house with a big terrace to enjoy the family meals. It was very well-equipped. The location is perfectly quiet and feels remote, although it's really just a short drive away from the big highway. We weren't very lucky with the weather in April, and we needed to use the fireplace and the extra blankets. I'd recommend to pack warm clothes to wear at home if you're visiting Crete during the cooler season. The hosts were super friendly and helpful.
