Grammeno Seaside Studios

Lovely place to stay on the beach.

Pros: If you want to chill on the beach and stay in a lovely comfortable and clean property this is your place. Just a 6 minute drive from town, dinner is easy; as is going to the supermarket to pick up any breakfast essentials. The host and her mum Sophia (who dropped in some freshly picked figs) were excellent at checking us in. Do yourself a favour and stay here.

On the beach, away from traffic and near a highly rated authentic Cretan restaurant - Grammeno Taverna.

Pros: This is my second stay at Grammeno because it’s literally on the beach. You will not find a better location if you have a car and enjoy a quiet location. The house is a 5 minute drive from bustling Paleochora, great supermarket and a bakery. You are a 10 minute walk from an authentic Cretan taverna, Grammeno taverna, recommended in all good guide books. The new studio is extremely spacious and well appointed. The room gets cleaned and tidied daily. Tonia is a great host and looks after the property beautifully.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: If you want a chilled holiday this the best We loved to everything about it 5 star's

Beyond Perfect – A Stay Worth More Than 10

Pros: A rate of 10 is simply not enough for Grammeno Seaside Apartment in Palaiochora. The service is truly unique: not only were the towels changed every couple of days, but even the kitchen trash was carried out for us – something I have never experienced in a holiday apartment before. The location couldn’t be better. Just cross the small internal street and you’re right on the beach – it really is front-row seaside living. The apartment was spotless, and the owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. When comparing the prices in Palaiochora, and considering the unbeatable position, the cleanliness, and the thoughtful services provided, Grammeno Seaside Apartment deserves far more than a 10. I can wholeheartedly recommend it and would return without hesitation.

Pros: The apartment was very spacious, quiet and had a nice location near the beach

Cons: The bathroom lacks light, the pillows were very hard but I asked the host for softer ones and they have brought it quickly

Our stay was excellent.

Pros: Perfect location, comfortable, good equipped. Friendly welcome.

Cons: Mosquitoes inside even though there are nets on the windows. but we have some repellents.

Cons: The only disadvantage is a pour sound isolation between the individual apartments. So it's good when the neighbors shows consideration...

Great stay

Pros: Great location, right on the beach. Very quiet and beautiful view of the beach straight from our balcony. Well equipped with anything you can possibly need. The host left some water, fruits and biscuits for us. Location easy to find using G map.

Cons: The only thing which doesn’t make this apartment worth of 10/10 are the bed and pillows - extremely uncomfortable. It’s sad because a good sleep should be the main priority and investing in a good mattress and pillows are essential for such a business.

Dream stay if you don’t want to be surrounded by crowds. On the beach!

Pros: If you are looking to be away from the crowds of Paleochora and still want a beach location, this place is for you. It is literally on the beach with only one property beside it and a camping site further away. We literally had the beach to ourselves. Our host was wonderfully welcoming! We will come again for sure. A dream stay!

Cons: Nothing!

Ideal if you are looking for a quiet private beach!

Pros: Sofia was a very discreet host and very laid back. She left some welcome treats in the kitchen for the whole family to enjoy (welcome bottles of cold water, small juice boxes for the kids, some snacks, coffee/tea/sugar and an entire watermelon waiting for us in the fridge!). All were very appreciated!

Cons: The bed mattress were a little too hard for our back's liking! But that is down to personal preference!
