Pros: We had a wonderful stay. Giannis was an exceptional host, generous, kind, and incredibly helpful. He greeted us with his own delicious olive oil and a huge basket of fresh fruit from his orchard. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, even sending us accurate Google Map links (as maps can be tricky in Crete!). Highly recommend staying here. Must love cats :)

An unforgettable place!
Pros: If I could I would give 11 points!! The old house is a wonderful place in a very quite area surrounded by 1000 of olive trees. Giannis is a wonderful host. He makes your stay unforgettable! 200% recommendation. Book that amazing place!
Cons: To stay just a couple of days. It is worth to stay for weeks!

Pros: Wonderful situation, out of the crowd and out of the town. I found at my arrival fresh fruit, a bottle of extra virgin oil as a gift, coffee, sugar, honey and all the necessary for the cooking. I asked also an advanced check-in and I was allowed without problems. The evening before my checkout Iannis arrived with a dish full of tiropita made by his mom. Iannis is is a wonderful person and his house (his grandfather's house really) is really fantastic.
Cons: Only a minor suggestion: a stronger illumination in bathroom and in the kitchen.

Pros: We loved our stay in Giannis' house, the house was perfect and well equipped, the view is amazing and Giannis is such an attentive host. Great spot to stay and explore the west of Crete!

Amazing house in the nature
Pros: We spent 5 amazing days in Giannis's house! We enjoyed this beautiful home, made with so much love and passion for every detail. We loved so much the beauty of the view from the balcony, the silence, the nature and the stars at night. Those pictures will remain in our minds and hearts forever! We were also so happy with the company of the lovely cats living there! Special thanks again to Giannis and his mum Chrysula for the warm welcome and kindness! A place we'll always hope to come back to.
Pros: Giannis is an amazing host who went all out to make our stay truly memorable. This was exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful nature, great taverna nearby, quiet, starry nights, olive trees everywhere, amazing views and a beautifully restored stone house. We couldn't ask for more.
Cons: We prefer a harder bed. But still slept great every night. We didn't like leaving. One thing to note is that there are a few well behaved cats living outside. They're sweet, but if your allergic you should know.

Wonderful and quiet stay in Koukounara!
Pros: The place, lost among the olive trees, is a haven of peace, the terrace is extraordinary with a splendid view, even if we couldn't take full advantage of it because of the heat. Giannis is very kind and helpful, we had great time there!
Cons: The road to the house is a little steep, but that's the reward for peace and quiet surrounded by lush olive trees!

Pros: One of the best rentals we've ever had, owner was amazing and made us very welcome. Property is fairly remote to find but ok with sat nav and well worth it for the views and nature surrounding. Everything was immaculate throughout, highly recommend.

Pros: Resounding experience! You will be immersed in the Cretan hills, around you only nature and in the distance the wonderful view of the sea! The house is spectacular, with everything you need and a fabulous balcony! Giannis treats her with care and love and her hospitality and availability is unique. We found fruit, oil and raki on arrival, he recommended a very good tavern in the village and on the last night he showed up with a savoury pie for us! Liebevoll eingerichtete, geräumige Unterkunft mit traumhaftem Blick und herzlicher Gastgeber
Pros: Traumhafte Lage, der Blick vom Bett aus über die Terrasse auf das ganze Tal bis hinunter zur Bucht und dem Meer ist einzigartig. Liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus, groß, geräumig, stilvoll. Giannis hat einfach auf alle Details geachtet. Nach Ankunft ist erstmal alles da, was man für den ersten Tag benötigt. Es gab alle Sorten Obst, wir wurden bekocht, der Kräutergarten vor dem Haus usw... Giannis ließt einem die Wünsche vom Mund ab. Fantastische Ruhe, Erholung pur.
Cons: alles perfekt!
