Traditional Cretan Country House (9klm from Elafonissi)

Cozy, well-equipped base with kind hospitality. Thank you, Eva, for making our stay so pleasant!

Pros: The room was cozy and had everything we needed. Parking right by the house was very convenient, and having a washing machine was a huge plus. The courtyard was perfect for drying clothes. The owner, Eva, was very kind and supportive – we were about 30 minutes late with checkout, let her know, and she was very understanding. Even though the house is next to a street, it’s surprisingly quiet at night with only a few cars passing. A little “secret tip” for future guests: Elafonisi beach is wonderful (head to the back part for less wind), but don’t miss Kedrodasos! A wild, tropical-like beach with crystal clear water and barely any people – a dream.

Cons: There are two apartments in the house – one has large windows, while the one we stayed in had only a small kitchen window. For a longer stay (4–7 days) this might feel a bit closed in, but for our short stay of one night, it wasn’t a problem.

Pros: Nice traditional house in a very quiet location with fully equipped kitchen and private parking. The staff was friendly and helpful. We recommend this to couples visiting the area for a few days

Pros: Great location, real atmosphere of a Greek house. There is an opportunity to walk around the surroundings, admire the views from the roof of the house, authentic courtyard. Well-equipped room, bathroom, kitchen - it was a very, very pleasant atmosphere.

Pros: Charming, calm place. Agreeable and responsive host. Beach and excellent taverna round the corner.

Nice rustic experience

Pros: Nice house, spacious rooms, equpped kitchen. It was good for a change to listen to a rooster in the morning and being entertained by the neighbouring cat at evening. Really country experience. The house is at 20 min from Elafonisi beach. Half way to it there is a good supermarket and picturesque tavern. It was quiet at nignt.

Cons: We were at the house and to go the bathroom you need to exit to the small yard. Not a problem actually, the doors are side by side.

Nice rural stay

Pros: We stayed for one night after visiting the nearby beaches. The room was spatious and very clean. The host is also very nice and responds fast.

Cons: The bed is a bit short, if you are 1,96m. But manageable :)

Pros: Very nice, charming place. Indeed in tradional house which for me was very impressive. Infomation which I obtaind from host Eva were comprehesive. At evening and morning there comes a tomcat asking/mioung for food. Please be generous for him 🙂
