Wonderful pension.

Pros: Wonderful pension, with wonderful staff making you feeling very welcome. Super clean and comfortable.

Cons: It's a bit noisy in the evenings if you are facing the Anchorage restaurant, but that was not a problem for us.

Pros: Lovely room, nothing was too much trouble for them, lovely welcome and fabulousc cleaner! Right in the heart of Sougia, would stay again

Pros: This was our second visit to Sougia as we really like the slow pace of life there. The accommodation was ideally situated just a stones throw from the beach and was well cared for.nothing to dislike

Pros: I enjoyed my stay at Pension Irene! the host was super friendly and the room was nice and tidy. The location was superb - 30 seconds away from the beach, and to other amenities and restaurants. It's super good value for money too, and would recommend if you're staying in Sougia!

Cons: My room was on the ground floor facing the road, which meant I could hear some passerby sounds once in a while, but really nothing bad - it's a small little town so it doesn't get rowdy at all

Pros: Sougia is a kind of world's end. We looked for immaculate nature and great hikes, but also found top notch service and excellent food. Costas, the host, keeps the apartment and restaurant at the highest level of cleanlyness and quality. The beauty of nature and sea around cannot be described. The nearest outlet cafe works 20 hours in a day, which is very convenient.

Very good basic hotel

Pros: Good basic hotel in the centre of town. Everything worked well. Irene was friendly and efficient. Sougia is an unexpected gem. It's beautiful. The restaurants we went to were excellent. It is a great base for Samaria Gorge and other hikes. Meletis taxis were on time, helpful and drove the mountain roads safely.

Cons: It was a bit noisy on our first night.

Perfect hotel in beautiful Sougia

Pros: Pension Irene is a lovely place to stay in peaceful Sougia. The beach is a couple of minutes away, there’s a supermarket just over the road, and lots of lovely restaurants and bars on your doorstep. Our room was clean and spacious, and everyone was so kind and friendly. I hope to be back soon!

Location, Location Location

Pros: This was our third stay at Pension Irene, so a good recommendation in its self. Our room had a side sea view, was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed,including enough crockery and pans should you wish to make simple meals. We loved the floral towel designs on the bed. The family are always friendly and welcoming. their restaurant across the way serves the most delicious food. Sougia is a laid back location, a good base for walking the Samaria Gorge. We look forward to returning in the near future.
