Sergios Village House

Pros: Lovely old house. So comfortable and in a little hamlet which was so peaceful with other nicely restored properties close by. Sergio was extremely helpful and kind from the outset allowing us a late checkout. He made us feel so welcome leaving us drinks and homemade food which was very generous and unexpected . Beautiful garden.

A lovely house with a beautiful garden and a very thoughtful host.

Pros: The house was clean and comfortable and everything you could have needed was there.beach parasols ,beach mats, iron and board hairdryer etc.Sergios left us a welcome note and delicious 😋 home cooked a generous portion of peppers and vine leaves stuffed with rice.Very generous welcome gifts not just the cooked meal but lovely fruit , vegetables , delicious home biscuits 😋 wine juice etc which was very kind of him and very much appreciated. The garden as well as the house is lovely we enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace. There Is a further lower terrace and a balcony all with table and chairs.

Cons: The village is a 10 min walk which was lovely for us.You may like to rent a car if this walk is too far and also you can explore other villages then too.

Beautiful home

Pros: It was my second time staying in Sergios house, had an amazing time again. Lovely home cooked food and fridge full of food on arrival and couldn’t be more helpful! Beautiful home and lovely area with traditional restaurants a short walk away.

Pros: Sergios village house is a traditional little house down a quiet lane with a garden of fruit trees and courtyard covered with a grapevine and potted geraniums etc. It has all you need for a comfortable and homely stay. The village is a lovely walk just up the road with Taverna, mini market, gift shops, museum and a lovely atmosphere. There are other tails to walk from here and a good base if you have a vehicle. Sergios the owner is there to greet you and welcome you, always on the other end of the phone if you need him. The fridge had lovely goodies and Sergio’s mum had made me dinner 💕

Pros: Although Sergio was not able to greet us at the property , his welcome was exceptional , his mother had cooked us a tasty traditional meal and also other goodies were left on the table and in the fridge , so thoughtful and very generous of him . He also left us a lovely welcome note on the kitchen table to explain he could not meet us and his mother gave us a traditional hand made gift, again so special.

Cons: A few mosquitos (we went in Sept) Just a word of advice for other travellers, if they love sitting outside ,there were a few mosquitos outside of property , not Sergio's fault though, thankyou Sergio the outdoor smoke burning things really helped ,well done. Sergio had equipped the property inside very well also, there were plug in repellants and outside smoke burning devices etc Take some repellant with you to be on the safe side.

Perfect

Pros: This is a great place, clean, quiet and pitoresque. The host is very helpful, more than nice, he waited us with a lot of treats and food. I stayed there one month, working and visiting west Crete. It is a good place for both.

The best host ever!

Pros: We had absolutely amazing time in Sergios house! He is the best host I’ve ever met. The house looks much more beautiful than on the photos. It has very nice yard with big family table. But be ready for a lot of mosquitoes:) Even though the house is fully renovated it’s a very old building and you can feel this vintage vibe. The village is very remote and quite. If you rent a car and you enjoy authentic village life then you will definitely like this accommodation! Sergios mother cooked for us super delicious dolmades (traditional Greek dish) as a welcome gift. That was so nice! Also they left for us fruits, vegetables and drinks. House is fully equipped and very comfortable. Thank you so much for unforgettable experience!

Super Sergio's Village Home

Pros: Splendid country home from home! Wonderful host, Sergio, exquisite garden, a spacious and welcoming place altogether.

Cons: Err... nothing, really. Mind you, it is a country house and you would need some form of transport to get out and about...

Excellent

Pros: The Villa is in a good loction in the heart of the Cretion countryside near the coast and located on the edge of a Village ideal for country walks. Good facilities in the Villa large garden to relax in. The Host is very friendly easy to communicate with left us with a hot meal on arival and also left us with a comprehensive food parcel so generous. I have been using Booking Com for years but this one of the best.

Pros: Da Haus war sehr schön und gemütlich. Der Gastgeber war überdurchschnittlich gastfreundlich.
