Amare suite

A nice stay

Pros: Kind owner who provided fresh fruit, wine and snacks as part of the stay. They also advised us when the suite was ready in case we wanted to check in earlier. The suite is finished to a high standard and has a comfortable bed. Everything was very clean.

Cons: We couldn't always get hot water from the shower. The owner did say they could have switched the heater on if we had asked, but it was late at night and we didn't want to disturb them. I would suggest if you stay here to clarify in advance about the hot water.

Amazing stay couldn’t ask for more

Pros: Just had a stay in Amare suite for our honeymoon and we didn’t want to leave. The host Maria was very kind and thoughtful ensuring we had all the necessities including fresh eggs from her chickens and fresh fruit some of it grown around the house. She also had everything we needed for our 6 month old and made sure to give us recommendations of things to do around the area. The house was beautiful and we really enjoyed having our own pool to use. Would definitely stay again.

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay here, it was even more beautiful than in the pictures. Maria was very kind host, always willing to help but still we got enough privacy. We really appreciated the private pool. The fresh fruit from the garden and especially home made olive oil was delicious! We had high expectations but still those were exceeded

Highly recommended

Pros: Very comfortable house and outside area, amazing pool, view of the garden, comfy outdoor furniture. Comfortable bed and bathroom, large well equipped kitchen, spacious. In and outside you will have everything you need and more. The owner lives upstairs and there are neighboring houses, but these live on/are oriented on the other side of the buildings which ensures plenty of privacy. Amazing tips from the owner for things to do and places to eat in the area, the owner also spoiled us with home made delicious treats and was very responsive to our questions. Short distance to Chania, botanical garden, beaches and many more things to do.

Cons: Some mosquitoes outside. Inside no problem as the are screens everywhere.

Pros: Everything you could possibly need is provided. The property is also close to many of places of interest.

Best place ever

Pros: Best place we have ever stayed . Felt like home away from home with amazing hostess Maria. We were treated very well and I will recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Chania. It's a private resort-like facility with great hospitality. Everything was great.

It was simply fantastic.

Pros: Our experience in the Amare Suite was simply fantastic! The suite was not only exceptionally clean, but also offered an ambience in which you could immediately feel completely at ease. The pool was a real highlight - beautifully designed and perfect for a relaxing break. The kitchen was superbly equipped and left nothing to be desired. The location of the suite was also ideal for exploring the surrounding area and relaxing in a peaceful atmosphere. Special thanks go to our hostess, who was not only extremely nice and accommodating, but also made sure that our stay was unforgettable with lots of little touches. We can highly recommend the Amare Suite and are already looking forward to our next visit!

It was excellent. We could not recommend it enough.

Pros: The hostess was very friendly. We were given fresh eggs and fruit from the trees as well as the fridge being stocked with some items including bread, juice and ham. We were also brought some pastries, ouzo, lemon cello and other snacks at various points throughout our stay. The apartment was extremely clean and modern. The kitchen was equipped with more than you need. The space inside and outside was lovely. The hostess even offered to come and clean the apartment again half way through our stay and we were brought fresh towels. It was very quiet and relaxing.

A hard place to leave…

Pros: I arrived very late in the early hours, after flight delays, and Maria, the owner, came down to see if everything was ok, which was nice and the start of my great stay at Amare. Maria is amazing, another reason my stay was so great, she goes over and above to help you. Maria’s cat and friend sometimes popped by. Which I loved, I couldn’t have wished for a better holiday.

Cons: You have to drive every, but for me this was fine, I had a car and found the quiet, the apartment and the pool exactly what I needed.
