This was a short work visit. I was very happy with the hotel. It was of course in Winter.

Pros: No breakfast requested. Location was ok but due to time of year very limited eating options. Communication before arrival was very good and information for access easy to follow. Room comfortable - heating very effective.

Cons: The shower needs attending to - the water shot outside the shower unit.

Chania is a lovely town and Candia Hotel was a pleasure.

Pros: Good location - easy 15mins walk from bus station; 5mins walk along coast promenade to old town; less than a minute from the beach and a string of restaurants. The apartment was a good size & view of the water from the balcony was lovely. Having kitchenette was handy. Larger than normal shower & thick towels. Nice breakfast available w. fresh squeezed juice. Clean & comfortable. Friendly staff.

Cons: Nothing to dislike.

Pros: I am a fan of small hotels. Here there is a more personal touch. Very kind staff. Excellent location, close to the beach and restaurants. Near old town Chania . Amazing location and lovely staff

Pros: Location was perfection! So close to a great beach and the old town to have the best of both worlds. The staff are extremely lovely. The breakfast is also worth it if you like.

Lovely family-run hotel convenient for the beach

Pros: The staff were super friendly and helpful. We liked the little balcony with its partial sea view. Very close to the beach and lots of great restaurants

Cons: We slept badly because there was little soundproofing between the rooms. We were kept awake by the sound of shifting chairs, footsteps, voices, people using their bathrooms, noisy heating system. Breakfast options were not very exciting

Pros: The location was great and the staff were very helpful. It was a good value for money proposition in the old town.

Cons: The room and facilities could use an improvement. While understandable for the price, the breakfast was a bit limited.

wonderful stay

Pros: The hotel itself is very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, the ladies from reception were very friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel at ease. They answered all our questions patiently, offered helpful recommendations for the area, and even made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth check-in and a wonderful stay. The breakfast was good and the location was perfect, 2 minutes from a wonderful beach and restaurants. I look forward to returning in the future.
