Good place to stay when you visit Crete.

Pros: Perfect location. Super friendly staff. Excellent vibe. Good Greek breakfast.

Cons: The facility can be a bit better. Bed and blanket were not the most comfy ones. Due to its an old building, the noise cancellation doesn’t really exist.

Fabulous location. Lovely views. Helpful staff.

Pros: The location is perfect. Bed was very comfortable. View was fantastic, right across the beautiful harbour. Staff could not be more helpful. Restaurant was very good as well. Breakfast was generous and service exemplary.

Cons: The bathroom. It is very small and the sink is outside the room, whilst the toilet is in the bathroom. There is no flat surfaces to put anything down in the bathroom. Way too small for a triple room and very basic. Surprising as the rest of the room was lovely.

Pros: Is a beautiful place to stay right on the Chania harbour. Close to everything, restaurants, tavernas, shops and not far from new town. The staff are so nice and helpful. And the room was immaculate. Will definitely come back.

Fantastic views

Pros: Fantastic views and gorgeous views of the harbour from the balcony. Bathroom appeared recently modernised to a high standard, had both bath and shower:-)

Cons: Top floor room, so lots of steps, but the view was worth it :-)

Gorgeous antique hotel in the heart of old town Chania

Pros: Gorgeous apartment in the heart of old town Chania, and we were lucky enough to have a breathtaking water view! The room was gorgeous with an antique but still modern style, and the hidden gem is this divine, spacious shared balcony space, with dimly lit tables and chairs overlooking the Old Venetian port. This balcony and view is unique to this hotel only, and believe it’s not offered by any other hotel along the port. It’s a must!! Especially for after dinner drinks! My husband and I spent much time out there, watching the sunset and enjoying the ambience! Thank you Hotel Amphora!

Pros: What a lovely place to stay. You cannot beat the hotel for location, right in the centre of the town overlooking the harbour. Staff were so friendly and helpful. We had issues with our rental car (different company) and they helped us find a solution. Also, their recommendations for things to do were great. The breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choices for all our group but even better was the having our breakfast in the restaurant’s terrace overlooking the harbour.
