Would be happy to stay again

Pros: Hotel was historic and characterful, individually furnished. Quiet room, comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Very welcoming and friendly owner and staff. Very clear directions about how to access hotel at night. Lovely welcome drink.

Cons: All the stairs! but we knew we were high up when we booked, and it was worth the effort.

Pros: The staff is super kind and helpful. The building architecture with Venice style is full of history.

Cons: The city is a harbor, and some odors occasionally emanate from the pipes. It's a common occurrence, though mildly unpleasant.

Charming central hotel

Pros: The location is perfect. Very close to restaurants, small shops and port, but in a location with no noise. The hotel is charging, is like going back in time. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious.

Pros: I loved the service here! The staff are so so lovely and they even organised a breakfast bag for us as we were going to miss breakfast because we had a full day tour planned. They were so attentive and gave us great recommendations. The location was also so central but still private.

Very welcoming and comfortable.

Pros: The room was excellent, it was huge! Basic but more than enough for a couple of days stay… it was very comfortable. We were on the first floor, the staff were faultless and they made us the most delicious picnic for our day when we went to the Samaria Gorge! It’s so close to the centre/water front but quite all the same. No disturbances from outside.

Cons: The breakfast was alright, nothing too exciting and perhaps time might be better off finding somewhere in the town.

Pros: What a beautiful hotel in a perfect location in the Old Town of Chania. Spacious, comfortable & extremely clean rooms. The super friendly & lovely staff made our stay even more wonderful. Thank you to Roula & Flora, as well as the lovely cleaning lady 🤗 The breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommend a stay here when visiting Chania 😍

Characterful property in a great location

Pros: The hotel is located very close to the Venetian port and the rooms are decorated considering the age and history of the property. All the staff we met were welcome and helpful. We loved the nicely equipped showers and the plentiful breakfast.

Cons: We had a room with a view over the Venetian port and that meant climbing some steep stairs up to the third floor. We admired the ladies working at the hotel who were able to do it without breaking any sweat at all!😀

Pros: Basically everything. We received the assistance required for printing our boarding pass, receiving some tips on restaurant and other suggestions. Flexibility to store our luggage.
