Pros: Very nice apartment and close enough for a short walk to the kissimos centre while being far enough away to be quiet. The pool is excellent.

Lovely new clean apartments

Pros: The rooms were spacious and clean (towels changed 7 days a week). The apartment even had a washing machine and all modern cons. All facilities are modern (open only 2 or so years) and the Pool area spotless. Has own car park and the resort is a great location to discover the beaches of eastern Crete

Cons: Unfortunately the premises are expanding so building work was going on. Also there is a longish walk into the town and then beach down a well lit road.

A Wonderful Family Holiday at a Hidden Gem in Kissamos

Pros: Sapphire Horizon is a hidden gem in Kissamos and highly recommended for all types of holidays, whether as a couple or a family like us. It was the perfect base for us to visit the nearby top beaches such as Balos, Elafonisi, and Falassarna, and to enjoy dinner in Kissamos or at a nearby taverna in the evenings. What stood out most was the exceptionally friendly and service-oriented staff – true to the motto “small but excellent.” The breakfast was great, with something for everyone, and even snacks during the day were available. A clear 100% recommendation from us!

Cons: The Wi-Fi connection is fine for basic internet browsing or checking messages, but if you plan to work remotely during your holiday, it might not be strong enough. We ended up buying an eSIM, which worked well and compensated for the weaker internet signal at the hotel.

Good stay overall

Pros: Overall good stay with clean, modern rooms and friendly staff. Easy parking. The town was a bit uninspiring, so we left earlier than planned.

Cons: Only downside was the pillows, which were too thick and not comfortable to sleep with. They put effort into the breakfast with a big basket of bread and pastries, but in the end it was a bit too much and not everything was that enjoyable. The eggs and fruit were good though.

10/10!! Everything was exceptional

Pros: Everything was amazing! Fantastic, friendly staff that made sure we were well looked after! The apartment was huge and very clean. It had everything needed. The pool was great for the kids and We arranged for a massage the day we checked out while they swam (well worth it!).

Cons: Nothing- it was all perfect!

Amazing maisonette at the Saphire!

Pros: Very spacious with all amenities a house has. There was a fully equipped kitchen and even a washing machine in one of the bathrooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful and everything was very new modern and clean!
