Villa Anthemida Chania

Pros: We loved our 3 week stay at Villa Anthemida. This is truly a place that is loved by its owners, with a beautiful garden and well looked after pool. Eva and Yannis the hosts went out of their way to make sure we had a comfortable stay, even dropping off pastries every few days and cooking us a dinner on our final night! Having a smart TV with Netflix and YouTube in both the lounge and bedroom was a nice touch as well.

Cons: There's not much in the immediate vicinity. The nearest cafe is a 10 minute walk, and supermarket etc is a 5 min drive away. With that said, it's only a 10-15 minutes drive to the beaches and restaurants of Chania, and there are many beautiful spots within a short driving distance.

Pros: It was cosy, well looked after, in a beautiful landscape. Staff helped with queries very quickly.

Small but beautiful

Pros: Very nice small property in the countryside close to Chania with mountain view. Two rooms for a family, with a nice garden where you can eat outside. Many attractions in close distance. We appreciated the confortable bads in a very clean and cosy house.

A gem of a villa!

Pros: For us the villa was a perfect little oasis. It had everything we needed in a peacful location. Comfortable inside with all necessary amenities. Large comfortable bed with soft pillows. plus air conditioning. Beautiful garden, planted with exotic fruit trees, shrubs and perfumed flowers, with a plunge pool, loungers and breeze bar. Not to mention BBQ and wood oven.We felt secure within the electronic gates. We had the option of being able to relax, spending time at the villa, alternating with trips to the town or beaches or destinations further inland like the botanical Gardens or into the mountains. All were within easy access of the property.

Cons: Nothing! I have no problem with recommending this property.

Would highly recommend this villa for a quiet relaxing holiday.

Pros: This is a lovely peaceful villa in a small village and has a beautiful secluded garden with flowers ,lemon and lime trees and a small swimming pool. The inside is modern and homely and has all the facilities required. It has secure parking and is easy to find. Our hosts were extremely friendly and gave us everything we needed plus a few extra cakes etc.

Pros: Such a lovely Villa - tucked away, private, and with everything you can possibly need. The hospitality was soooo good, the hosts prepared a few items for our first breakfast and even dropped off delicious bourekia twice during our stay. Can’t wait to come back - thank you!!!

Lovely villa in beautiful surroundings!

Pros: The whole surrounds are beautiful. The garden is amazing with lots of fruit trees. Inside had everything we needed with a big fridge freezer and really nice living area.

Cons: There were just a few too many wasps around the pool area to fully relax - I appreciate this is due to the lovely surroundings but there were a lot! Also you definitely need a car (which we had!) as there isn’t really anything nearby.

Pros: The villa was a great size and well equipped. Would visit again!

Lovely villa

Pros: The villa was a beautiful and tranquil retreat nestled in a small village surrounded by orange groves. The children had a fantastic time in the swimming pool, and the garden was filled with vibrant lemon trees. The flickering flames of the pizza oven created a cozy atmosphere as the evening grew darker. We also enjoyed leisurely walks around the nearby lake, which offered excellent walking trails. Additionally, the view from the slopes of the neighboring fruit orchard overlooking the valley was absolutely stunning. Overall, our stay at the villa was a delightful experience, combining natural beauty, a serene atmosphere, and enjoyable amenities.

Beautiful tranquil spot of paradise

Pros: The hosts Sarrah and her husband was so welcoming! we absolutely loved the villa it was truly a piece of paradise! The garden is kept so beautifully and everything in the house is just perfect- Thank you for having us, we will definitely recommend!

Cons: Nothing! suggestion would be to have more knives to chop vegetables and some extra towels for the sun loungers but that’s it!
