Pros: We recently stayed at this villa in Crete and overall had a lovely time. The Villa is really spacious, the pool is a real highlight, and the location is very convenient for exploring the area (although you will need a car). The host Giannis made us feel very welcome, leaving a small basket of essentials for our arrival and some homemade pies later in the week. Giannis was very responsive to any enquiries and gave good recommendations for local days out/restaurants etc.

Cons: That said, the villa itself is looking a little tired and would benefit from some general maintenance. On arrival, we noticed the fridge hadn’t been cleaned properly, and there was a lack of basic cleaning products provided, which made it harder to keep things fresh during our stay- we enquired about this but were told that the lack of cleaning products was due to safety as we were travelling with children (but were welcome to buy our own). There were a number of broken items in the villa which would have been better removed than left as it gave the impression of being poorly maintained. The pool itself was the highlight of the villa (for the children in particular) but there were a couple of large ant nests in the surrounding wall which meant the ants were all over the sun beds and floor area around the pool - a small inconvenience really but a problem that we felt could easily be addressed but when mentioned we were told that ants are just part of the natural environment and nothing could be done about them. With a bit of attention to maintenance and cleanliness, this could be an outstanding property.

Very comfortable with lots of space , beautiful garden and swimming pool .

Pros: The pool and garden were lovely with lots of shade from the trees. The orange trees add lots of character. The balcony terrace was also lovely with a nice view of the mountains ( but quite hot in the day in August ! ) The small village is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the seaside resort to be calmer and a nice place to relax.

Cons: Sometimes a bit of noise from the local businesses but not often

Simply a great location where to relax, with good access when travelling by car.

Pros: The Villa is beautifully and very spacious. The outdoor space is fantastic, pool, terrace and surrounding garden with an outdoor gym protected in a cool shaded area. Very good facilities throughout. The master bedroom had an annexed shower leading to a palatial sized main bathroom with jacuzzi. The kids loved their bedrooms. It was so wonderful every morning waking up and having a cup of coffee on the upper terrace watching the sun rising behind the dstant mountain and gradually filling the valley and the hills around the property with light. Kitchen was fully functional to.

Cons: Not much. If I had to be very picky, the open riser stairs are a bit high with some a bit wobbly. So going up and down one needs to be careful.

Comfortable, spacious villa, which provided a good base to explore Western Crete and for relaxing.

Pros: In a quiet and secluded spot the villa, was comfortable. It had plenty of space, pretty garden and pool area with lots of shade and a nice roof terrace. Mid week cleaning was a welcome facility.

Cons: Very few provisions on arrival. Welcome pack poor and lack of cleaning materials, spare towels etc, given this was an expensive property to rent.

Amazing villa, great pool, pure relaxation.

Pros: Amazing, peaceful villa with a great pool and everything we needed for a wonderful relaxing holiday. The hosts are excellent, great communication and always available if we needed them. We will definitely return to this villa! Thank you.

Pros: the whole area round the villa was great. we had a very good time to relax there and the staff was kindly and helpful. i can just recommend the villa for everyone.

Tout étais au rdv pour des vacances en famille dans une superbe maison. À refaire…

Pros: L’accueil et la gentillesse de l’hôte, La propreté, l’espace, les équipements ( cuisine, barbecue, literie, salle de bain etc…). Nous avons beaucoup aimé le cadre calme et reposant ainsi que l’aménagement du jardin avec ses orangers qui apportent de l’ombre. La piscine ensoleillée était très bien aussi, avec aucun vis-à-vis. On a apprécié également le grand canapé extérieur et la grande table de jardin, la terrasse à l’étage le soir avec la vue sur la montagne et la village. L’emplacement de la maison etait parfait car proche de la Canée et des plages (10mn en voiture).

Cons: Rien.

Très bon séjour, agréable et reposant

Pros: Incroyable!! La propreté, le service, la villa est tout équipée, moderne, c’est super pour se reposer et profiter de la piscine. Très bien situé côté chania, pas loin du centre ville, une belle rue de restaurant et boutiques juste à côté. L’hôte est très gentil et disponible pour vos questions/ organisation d’activité si besoin. Nous avons passé un très bon moment en famille.

Cons: Petit bémol pour la piscine qui n’est pas chauffée, pour les bébé cst un peu froid (nous y étions fin mai).
