Avocado Villas

Perfect!

Pros: Wonderful few days in September. Jason is the perfect host and went out of his way to help us hire a car after another company let us down. Great pool and location. We would love to return!

Pros: Great location! Small village away from the tourist bustle but still close enough to serve as a base for seeing the surrounding beaches and attractions. Jason was really friendly and helpful, his homemade raki was just perfect!. Really comfortable beds and the villa itself is really spacious. Fantastic pool was definitely huge advantage ad we might rest while kids were playing. Local taverna just nearby offers delicious food. To sum up, if you want to taste something local and feel like living in a Greek village for a while this is your must have!

A memorable stay with wonderful hosts

Pros: We had a fantastic stay at Avocado Villa Fivos. Iason and his family were incredibly welcoming—his passion for the place and the land really shines through. They shared delicious local produce and gave us great advice on exploring the area. The villa strikes a perfect balance between traditional charm and modern comfort. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and very well equipped. The pool was large and very well maintained and the views from the house over the surrounding countryside were stunning. Our son especially loved the farm tour, where he got to meet the animals and plant his own avocado tree—a highlight of the trip. The location is ideal for visiting Chania, as well as the beautiful beaches of Balos and Elafonisi. We’d happily return.

Relaxing, fun and just what a busy family of 4 needed to re-charge.

Pros: The villa was great, everything you needed for a comfortable relaxed stay. Jason was super helpful and friendly and accommodating of our requests. We loved staying so close to a working farm and especially the visits from the dogs and the local cats.

Cons: Nothing, everything was great.

Great location, host and villa.

Pros: Fantastic host Jason, he was willing to show us the local surroundings. The villa was spacious for 5 people and a fantastic swimin pool.

Cons: Nothing, but the roosters can wake you up earlier than expected. Nothing you can do as animal do what they do.

Pros: The Villa is excellent, with perfect facilities. Fresh farm produce was given to us on arrival. The pool is great & cleaned daily. There is an outdoor barbecue which was also brilliant. The thing that separated this stay from previous similar villas was the host Jason - he was extremely friendly and helpful. A perfect host in a perfect Villa.

If we could stay forever, we would...

Pros: What didn't we like??? The place was absolutely amazing! Jason is the perfect example of hospitality. He was there on our first day to welcome us to his lovely villa, leaving us with ample veggies from his farm as well as a couple of bottles of delicious home made Raki. The villa itself was exceptionally comfortable with air conditioning throughout, two huge TVs, a fully equipped kitchen and a gorgeous pool area where we spent most of our time when not out exploring the island. Seriously, cannot fault a thing, the place exceeded our expectations. The location was quiet and peaceful, only 25 minutes away from Chania, yet still offering beautiful countryside and mountain vistas. If you're thinking about visiting, just book now... You won't be disappointed.

Cons: Having to leave. This place makes you want to stay forever.
