A rare treat!!

Pros: Incredible views, comfortable beds, beautifully decorated and so many thoughtful touches, such as herbs and spices, a welcome pack, washing powder, beach towels as well as bath towels.

Cons: It was perfect.

A fabulous Cretan idyll

Pros: Our third year in a row to Crete, we really enjoyed our stay at Villa Anthos. It’s a beautifully furnished and maintained Villa, a good sized pool and lots of space inside and particularly outside, where there are so many choices of places to sit and lounge. The views down to the local town with the sea and mountains beyond are to die for. The town itself is very pleasant with a few shops, tavernas and two mini markets.

Cons: Not a dislike, but be aware it’s a 15 minute walk down to Gavalohori on a quiet road with several hairpin bends & a lot harder coming back up(!) - I saw one or two walking it, but I’m glad we had a car!
