Cretan Kera Villa Heated Pool

Pros: The place had a very pleasant interior and exterior design, with a calm ambience. Eating outside was a noteable experience having the view of the hills and nature. The pool area was clean and very well maintained. Everything was well put, the kitchen and grill area had everything that one may need and were fully functional. Simona was a very nice host, she gave us a lot of useful information before arrival and was always available for questions. She even invited us at a holiday celebration at the local church, where we listened to the Divine Liturgy, ate with the locals and admired the most beautiful sunset of our trip.

Excellent house in a beautiful setting

Pros: Wonderful stay in a beautiful location! Great hikes either walking from the house or a short drive away, dramatic mountains and lots of wildflowers (we came in April/May). We came with our 20 month old daughter and she loved seeing all the farm animals nearby in the village, the next door farmer let her come and see his chickens, rabbits and lambs at feeding time (and gave us fresh eggs!), and there is a small playground in the village too. Lots of outdoor patio space to run around and a lovely heated pool with a beautiful mountain backdrop. Not difficult to get to Kissamos to pick up supplies at a supermarket and the kitchen is exceptionally well equipped including dishwasher which made catering easy.

Cons: No room for improvement

Fully meets expectations

Pros: We are very pleased and surprised by how clean the place was!!! Personally I travel for work frequently and it’s the first time that I’ve been to a place that was truly clean! Moreover, the house was fully stocked with everything that we needed. It had extra towels, pillows, pool towels, all the necessary for barbecue (charcoal, seasonings, utensils for charbroiling etc.). Overall we had a really good time in Crete and the villa was also a part of this. If I have the opportunity to visit again Crete it will definitely be my first choice. Totally recommended!

Cons: Honestly, I cannot find something that I didn’t like. The place is really nice!

Total escapism from a busy life - feeling VERY chilled and relaxed.

Pros: Great location, amazing views, fantastic choice for an isolated, 'away from it all' holiday. Everything you needed was provided. Swift and easy communication with host.

Cons: Not a problem for us as we were just a couple but given the property has beds for 8 people and only one indoor bathroom this may prove difficult for a larger group. The second bathroom is in an outside annex, fab when you are out by the pool but maybe not so good if you needed to use in the night.

The Villa was great. Perfect for our family holiday!

Peaceful isolated place with a great pool

Pros: We enjoyed our stay at Cretan Kera Villa, we were 2 families of 5. Simona our host was very kind and communicative, gave us information about the area's attractions, we had everything we needed. The pool is delightful, the outdoor dinning table is very big and with an amazing view to the mountains. It is located in a very quiet and peaceful area. In general we enjoyed our stay very much!

Cons: Nothing is in a walking distance (it is very nice if you are looking for peace and quiet, but not if you need a supermarket or close by beaches and shops). The living room is a bit small, we were mainly outside in the pool and outdoor dining area. The beds were not the best in terms of comfort but were ok.

Pros: Det var skönt att vara helt utan andra turister, kändes genuint och hemtrevligt. Perfekt för oss som trivs att vara på en avskild plats med närhet till naturupplevelser, privat pool, kök och bilavstånd på ca 15 min till butik. Vi trivdes i kissamos egen strand som låg nära nog. Platsen hade vacker utsikt, fina uteplatser att äta på, perfekt pool.

Cons: Det var högljudda cirkador, inte något att göra åt egentligen men bra att känna till! Vi var där juli månad.

Best villa ever

Pros: Amazing place, very peaceful at the top of the mountain. Strategically close to all the good places such as Balos, Elafonissi beach and Chania. There is an amazing warm swimming pool with view of the mountain. Also barbeque area and one more outside table with a breathtaking view. The house can fit 8 people. One bedroom has a bit less privacy above the living room. All the others are very comfortable and well designed. There is a very cool covered parking area for two or three cars. There are sun umbrellas, blowup toys, beach ball (we also left some of them). The host was very nice and helpful. She also left us beer, raki, coffee, olive oil and sweets. The house was fully stocked with all we needed. Washing mashine, diashwasher, stove, TV and AC in every room. We wish we could have more time here.

Villa exceptionnelle

Pros: La villa est géniale, super bien équipée, décorée avec goût et très confortable. Les équipements de cuisine/ barbecue / salle de bain / piscine sont nombreux et les chambres très confortables. La propreté de la maison et des extérieurs est irréprochable. Enfin, la disponibilité, l'accueil et la gentillesse de Simona est un vrai plus ! MERCI !
