Pros: The hotel is GREAT. Clean and quiet. Friendly Owner and Staff. Nice pool with loungers and great suvlaki at the bar. Excellent location - 2 minutes to the center, yet the area was quiet. I recommend it; my family and I are very happy.

Pros: Really nice hotel with great pool. Rooms are spacious and very clean (cleaning and towel change every day). Friendly and competent staff. It was a very pleasant stay and I would gladly return. Highly recommended!

Pros: Lovely hotel,great location. Very convenient for local bus to and from Chania. Local.supermarkets,shops restaurants and beach a short walk away but quiet at night very restful. When you leave the bustle of Platanias village at night,a few minutes later you're in the quiet of the countryside. Great pool and always plenty of space. Air con was great in the 30° degree heat and wasn't charged extra for( which has always been an add-on in other places). Same with the safety box. Spotless,housekeeping deserve a medal!! Not only the room but all the outdoor area in the hotel didn't have a speck of dust. Would stay again.

Cons: No electric kettle in the room,but we had a coffee maker and a two-ring stove which saved the day! ( Always need my cuppa in the a.m!)

Pros: Everything we needed was there (including baby cot and a kitchenette). Our kid really liked the pool (a part of which was specifically for toddlers and small children). A supermarket is five minutes away.

Cons: The wifi did not work at times. Pool was open until 8 pm - one more hour would be nice.

Peaceful, relaxing and convenient hotel.

Pros: Location was quiet and peaceful, but still very close to everything. Our terrace under the lime trees was very nice. Cleaners were very good and very friendly. Pool was never too busy and lunch from pool cafe was good. Room had aircon and big ceiling fan, what was essential in the July heat and the use was included in the price. Room had a safety deposit box with no additional cost to use it. Beds were very comfortable and towels and sheets were changed often. Studio room was large and very comfortable for three people.

Great budget friendly stay

Pros: Evropi Hotel was a great budget-friendly choice for our stay in Platanias. The one-bedroom apartment on the ground floor was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a few days. The location was great. Close to many restaurants, shops, and just a short walk to the beach. The pool area was nice, with a small shallow section for kids and a larger swimming area where we could all cool off. Even though the water was a bit cold, the kids still had a great time. Overall, it was exactly what we needed for a short family stay.

Cons: The hotel could use a little TLC here and there, but everything was clean. The staff spoke limited English, which was manageable but something to keep in mind for communication.
