Very cute boutique hotel within a stone's throw of the beach
Pros: If you like a friendly, boutique hotel where you can see and hear the waves lapping from your room, this is for you. We stayed in a ground floor studio room right at the front - excellent soundproofing and everything you need - espresso machine, hairdryer, kettle and very comfortable. The private beach area was lovely - far less busy than a lot of other parts of the beach and the restaurants at this end of Agia Marina seem to be of really good quality and value. Special mention for Isadora on reception who is an absolute star!! She was so friendly and helpful :)
Cons: The pool is a little small and not very warm which didn't matter when the sea was calm, but for a couple of days it was very windy so we didn't swim in the sea and we would have appreciated a bigger, warmer pool, but that is literally the only thing I can think of (which is unlike me!)

Short but relaxing stay
Pros: Location next to the sea. Clean, modern look, few rooms only meaning it is pretty serene
Cons: At night, you may hear the traffic noise

Siga Siga is here…
Pros: The pictures don’t do it justice, this place is everything you want it to be, from dawn to dusk, and beyond. Staff are wonderful, and if you have a car the west end of the island is not far away. Our souls guided the days journey (with some tips and tricks from the staff). We fully enjoyed the power of the slowly slowly and much great food.

A beautiful gem of a hotel.
Pros: We've returned for the second summer, it's beautifully contained and peaceful with a pool the children love and access to a private area on the beach. The owners and staff are all so lovely and friendly, the food is excellent and the rooms comfortable, clean and spacious. We will be back again next year.

Exceptional.
Pros: The property is on the beach so there’s no need to travel to any beaches. It’s also around a 20 minute drive to Chania and I believe there should be public transport that takes you there too. It’s clean and has all the necessary facilities, apart from an iron and a hairdryer, which we didn’t need. It is possible that they would have been provided had we needed them but we didn’t. The receptionist Isadora was a true gem, very helpful and lovely, as was Andrea, who was always so positive and upbeat. Between them, they made our stay!
Cons: We liked everything.

Would highly recommend
Pros: Katerina warm and welcoming. Few steps down to beach. Good breakfast with plenty of fresh orange juice, cold meats, cucumber, tomatoes, cheeses, boiled, fried and scrambled eggs, fruit, cakes, croissants and delicious jams, honey plus daily specials. Easy bus ride to Chania. Lots of local restaurants. Recommend room 8 with double balcony overlooking sea. Fabulous sunrises.
Cons: A few sun beds by pool / garden area would be nice
