Very large beautiful private garden with private pool and stunning views.

Pros: Amazing location in a quiet village, stunning views, private pool, beautiful garden, traditional interior. 10/10.

Pros: Great place to stay in Crete. The garden, particularly the pool and terraces, is wonderful. The view is also spectacular. Highly recommended.

Pros: Μείναμε 6 βράδια σε ένα υπέροχο σπίτι στο Γαβαλοχώρι και μείναμε απόλυτα ευχαριστημένοι. Το σπίτι είναι μεγάλο, άνετο και πεντακάθαρο, με μια τέλεια αυλή και χώρο για BBQ . Η κουζίνα είναι πολύ καλά εξοπλισμένη – πραγματικά είχε ό,τι χρειαζόμασταν. Το χωριό είναι ήσυχο, πανέμορφο και πολύ φιλόξενο. Σε κοντινή απόσταση υπάρχει παραδοσιακό καφενείο με εξαιρετικό φαγητό και mini market για τα απαραίτητα. Ήταν η ιδανική βάση για χαλαρές διακοπές και σίγουρα θα ξαναέρθουμε.

Pros: Maison idéalement située dans un petit bourg a 2 pas de tavernes authentiques, supérettes et boulangerie. Vue sur les montagnes magnifique, piscine parfaite (avec enfants de 2 et 6ans) et une partie ombragée l'après midi ce qui était très agréable. Plage a 5mn en voiture au top. Tranquilité assurée avec les biquettes qui passées devant la maison matin et soir ;) Pas de clim mais le prix de la Loc serait bien sûr plus cher, moustiquaires et ventilateurs au plafond Hôte très accueillant et réactif

Pros: Rustige locatie. Op loopafstand een uitstekende taverne, bakker en supermarkt. Ideaal om de omgeving te verkennen. Uitermate vriendelijke gastheer. Het huis is prima warm te krijgen als het koud is. Privézwembad 😃

Cons: Tegenvallen is een groot woord. Er zijn een paar verbeterpunten: geen lekkere zitbank beneden, de matrassen zijn keihard en de kraan boven lekt.

Very good value for its money. Super clean.

Pros: We had our amazing Christmas Holidays at the Dekem Residence. The communication with the owners was spot on. Very helpful and very quick replies on my questions. Thank you. The house was super clean, very well equipped with kitchen stuff/bedding/towels/microwave/coffee maker/kettle/oven/toasti machine/hair dryer. When we arrived late Mom had put some traditional Greek Christmas cookies on the table, delicious Melomakarona and she had left us some beer and a breakfast for in the morning, in the fridge. That was a big surprise. And there was always s,uper hot water for a shower. The location is perfect. The surroundings are stunning. There is an amazing little Greek Kafenio down the road, 100 mtr walk. It only takes about 30 min to come to Chania. And it's ideal to start some routes with the car to discover the best part of the island.

Cons: For a summer stay the place is perfect with loads of chairs and seating areas outside. But for the rainy winter days and nights, the place was not well equipped with a comfortable couch/armchairs for 4 persons to watch TV.
