Excellent stay, lovely hotel and great staff.

Pros: Great location. Very quiet. Very helpful and attentive staff. Clean and spacious. Good breakfast with a beautiful view.

Cons: We didn't have a problem with the stairs (we had read about this from others) but may be a problem if you have mobility issues.

Luxury in a historical setting

Pros: You could sense the history of the 500 year old building overlooking the old Venetian fort. Exceptionally updated to a luxury level while taking nothing away from its beautiful character. Our room was massive with amazing views and great staff.

Cons: Loved it all. You need to navigate a few steps as you do with most of Chania accommodation, but it's very much worth it.

Lovely historic hotel right on the harbour offering an unforgettable stay.

Pros: This is a lovely historic hotel right on the harbour in Chania. The staff were amazing, so helpful throughout. Lovely breakfast each morning (even supplied us with take out when an excursion left early), bottled water refreshed each day in the room, wine upon arrival.

Cons: This is an old building which has implications. Lots of stairs which were fine for us but might make it a no go if you’ve mobility issues. Whilst our room was spacious (no 7) the bathroom was cramped.

A wonderful stay

Pros: Fabulous setting on the Venetian harbour. Three of the four rooms we booked were great, with lovely views. The staff ere charming

Cons: The fourth room we booked was very small and looked at a blank wall. The price for that room did not reflect this.

Perfect hotel for a stay in Chania

Pros: We love everything about this hotel, it is our 6th visit. The location is perfect for the old town, the rooms and public areas are lovely, the breakfast is great and all of the staff, especially the 2 many, are just excellent, we look forward to returning each year.
